Chapter 18- Meet his parents/dinner pt. 1

Next morning An li, got up in a unfamiliar place, she was about to scream but just remember that she was at Chen Wu house. Getting up from the bed An li went and did her morning routine. Taking a shower she had to use Chen wu, shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Coming out she wrapped a towel around her.

Looking around to find something to cover her up, before Chen wu comes back from wherever he went to. Waking to the bed, An li hear a door open look to see who it was. Chen wu was the one that open the door, he's carrying a bag in one hand and the other hand he has his phone talking to somebody.

He froze looking at his soon to be wife up and down with nothing covering her but just a towel. When An li saw him looking at her, she ran straight to the bed and grab the blanket to cover her.

“I'll call you back later".

Hanging up he walk up to An li, giving her the bag he was carrying. Taking it from him she wonder what is inside the bag.

“What's inside the b-bag".

“What did I tell you about stuttering".

“S-sorry, I'm sorry I can't help it".

“The bag has your new clothes, so go change and go down for breakfast then we can head into work".

“O-ok". ( oops I forgot I stutter again )

Giving An li one brow raise look.

Not moving at all, because he's too close to her to move from where she's at. She sees a opening but not enough to get pass him, tilting up to see him looking at her like he wants to do something to her. Holding onto the blanket tighter, hoping that she was just imagining it.

“Chen wu, can y-you at least move so I can go change".

“Why! I just want to admire your body, can't I".

“N-no".

“It's ok, I'll have my chance at our wedding night". ( licking his lips, now moving aside so she can go change )

“N-no never".

Running pass Chen wu she hear him chuckle.

I have a crazy husband to be, why do all men desire woman so much. I hope he wouldn't do anything on that day, if he does I'll just have to lock myself up somewhere or hide.

Dressing as quick as she can, An-li forgot that she doesn't have a hair brush so she couldn't brush her long hair. The only thing she could do is tie it up in a bun. Grab her phone and purse she head down to have breakfast, already sitting waiting for An li.

“Sit down and have your breakfast".

Nod her head to him only. Taking her place five seat away from him she ate her food quietly.

“Why are you sitting so far?"

“No, r-reason".

Wasn't paying attention to him nor her food because her mind is in another world. Thinking how her life end up like this, she thought that if she could get away with it maybe he would forget about it. But her plan failed miserably feel like crying, she stop her tears from falling.

Chen Wu was talking to her, but she was to busy talking to herself in her head.

( How! I'm I suppose to explain this to my parents or my friends, SIGH....This man! no more like a crazy, psycho, and bastard man who just made my life a frickin more mess I thought distancing myself away from any men out there I would be free to do whatever I wanted. And now my life went upside down and down the drain away from me. Oh sh*t I have to ask him about that question I was going to ask yesterday night. )

An li didn't know that when she was busy talking to herself in her head, Chen Wu was walking towards her with a smirk. Checking out his wife who decided to ignore him.

Close to to An-li's ear “Are you thinking about me or me having my way with you". ( licking her ear now )

“Ah!" ( she jump and got out of her seat looking at him scared now with unshed tears backing away )

“An li, it's ok I'm not going to do anything I was talking to you".

“S-sorry! I wanted to ask you something, but I'll ask later we have to get to w-work now".

Chen Wu looked at her food, she barely eat anything still the same.

( time skip )

At the company already, inside Chen Wu office he was on the phone speaker with the same person from earlier.

“Think you can help me with it".

“Sure why not, sounds interesting". ( chuckling )

Knock.Knock.Knock....

“Hold on. Come in".

Waiting for the one that knock on the door.

“S-sir! your documents".

“An li, what did I say".

“I-i, I know it's a habit of mine now".

“What do you mean ‘Now' like you just started it or in the past".

Doesn't want to answer that question she ask him if he need anything. “D-do you need anything else, sir!"

“No, you may leave and remember tonight we are having dinner with my parents".

“Y-yes, sir I remember".

Out the door An li left.

“Who was that Chen wu?"

“My wife to be/Secretary".

“Now I know what you mean by that".

“Yeah! When are you planning on coming back?".

“I would say 10 days from now, I have businesses there also and we are having that meeting soon too. So I thought that once i finish up here, I'll head there next, I like to be there early. I wanna meet my sister in law too". ( smirking on the other side of the call )

“Then, I'll have Xun wu pick you up at the airport on that day. And don't think I don't know what you are planning".

“I'm not planning anything".

“Thinking if we all should meet at my office. You'll probably get jet lag, so we'll meet once you are rested".

“Yeah! sure then I'll just bring in the papers with me too".

“I'll see you later then".

“Later, I have to get going too I have to meet someone here". ( hanging up )

( SIGH ) Calling his personal assistant now.

Ring.Ring.Ring......

“Hello! Xun wu"

“Xun wu, to my office".

“Yes sir".

Within 5 minutes Xun wu got there, his office isn't that far from Chen wu.

“Sir! you need something".

“See if you can let the other three know about this plan. Tell them that I want their info of ’An li' on the same day, when he arrive here".

“Ok! anything else".

“He'll be here in 10 days from now, you'll be the one to go pick him up but if anything changes, I'll let you know".

“Yes".

“You can go".

“Yes sir"

An-li pov:

I'm so not ready yet, meeting his parents this early on. I mean I know you are supposed too meet his/ her parents, but it's not like we dated at all and or in love. I don't even know a thing about him and he doesn't know anything about me.

What if he hides something, don't get me wrong I too have a deep deep secret I probably won't even share that problem with him. But if it gets to one point in our life's then I might have too.

Any way I'm looking at these documents for him again. ‘oh, snap' I totally forgot that I have to let the girls know about my wonderful decision ( Psh, I don't think it's wonderful at all, that freaking lunatic man made me sign those forms ). Time needs to hurry up it's only 10am, damn you if only I could make the time wind faster.

Chen Wu pov:

Something doesn't feel right about all of this, now that I am thinking about it back to when I wanted my marriage with her. And all of a sudden she decide not to continue with our relationship. Her dream was to become a famous fashion model.

Let's just say she finally achieve that goal of hers, and me on the other hand can continue with my goals too. I now have a ‘sweet little doll' as my wife, I just love the look on her hazel brown eyes. Everything about my wife scream innocent, especially her face.

I shouldn't push a innocent girl like her towards me, because I am a ruthless men who uses girls as toys. And since she's in my arms now I don't think I can let anyone have ‘my innocent wife'. She resemble a porcelain doll in a way that I can't describe it. I'll see how long she can keep up with her innocent way.

Almost done with the day, An li wonder if she should go buy something for his parents. But she doesn't know what they like at all.

( What should I go buy, should I go ask him or not )

Not sure what to do, An li got up and start to pace around her office thinking if she wants to go ask him. And without further pacing, she walk out heading to his.

( Breathe in. Breathe out An li just go ask him )

I cannot do this it's just too weird. maybe I'll just text to him about it. Yeah I'll text to him that way I won't get to face him. Smiling to herself, she turn back to walk away but got pulled inside.

“Hello! my sweet wife, miss me is that why you came to my office".

Pushing him away but he only moved an inch. Not liking how close they are to each other.

“Y-you have the wrong idea, I only came here to talk to you about your parents".

“What about them?"

“Well....u...um....."

“Just spit it out already".

“W-what does your parents l-like?".

“Why do you ask?"

“I-i just wanted to get them something".

“An li you don't need to get them anything, you being a daughter in law to them is enough. Plus it was their idea for me to get married anyway".

“W-well I just wanted to get them something, don't you think it's rude not to".

“No, it's not rude at all, they wanted a daughter in law and now that they have one it's not rude".

“B-but at least something for dinner or dessert?"

“...SIGH.....I don't know what they like, I'll call them later".

“Can't you call now I-i want to know

( she's being stubborn again ) “Why not".

Went to his to grab his phone and dial his parents.

( His dad picked up. ) “Hello".

“Dad is mom there with you".

“She's in the kitchen preparing for tonight's dinner, just tell me and I'll let her know".

“Well, your daughter in law insisted on buying something for you both and ask me what you guys like".

“We have everything we need, so we don't need anything".

Turn to look at An li, give her a face like I told you so. Walking to him she whisper in his ear ask him if they want wine for dinner.

“Dad, what about wine".

“We got wine here already".

Covering his phone telling her to give up.

“An li give up, I told you already they don't need anything".

Shaking her head no that she won't give up.

“Dad what about dessert, please say yes or else I won't stop hearing the end of her complaining and she's being stubborn right now".

His dad laughing, because his son is dealing with his wife complaints. “Now you'll understand the meaning when you get married; and when your wife complains all the time".

“Its not funny dad."

“Ok! how about this, sweet red wine and tiramisu".

“Got it, well see you both tonight".

“Bye, son".

“Bye, dad".

“My dad said sweet red wine and tiramisu, what do I get from all this".

“Thank you! sir".

“What did you call me?, Is that all I get?".

Eyes bulging out. she cover her mouth and curse inside her head oh! sh*t, why the hell did I call him that. Thinking fast she made her way to the other side of the desk.

“I-i called you Chen wu, y-you must have misheard me and I said thank you. I'm I not supposed to call you sir anyway".

“Oh! you thought I am deaf, and didn't hear you. Well when we are together you call me by my name, but when we are with other people you call me ( Sir )".

“O-ok".

Getting up. Looking at her.

Know what he's thinking of doing to her, she need to think of something to distract him; so she can escape.

Got an idea she ask him. “S...ir....I mean Chen wu can I ask you something".

“What?"

“D-do you have any siblings, beside only you".

“I do, why do you ask".

“Just want to know, u-ummm.....do you always look out that window behind you".

Asking him that, he turned to look out the window. “ Everyday when I am done with work". Looking back at her, but to see no one standing there anymore. His eyes turned pitch black ( how dare she to leave just like that when asking me questions, I am going to teach her a lesson for doing that. )
