CHAPTER ONE
"Good day! Welcome to Laila's Bridal. My name is Mia, how can I be of help to you?" The woman at the front door greeted Madison just as she walked into the Bridal suite.
"Heyy, my name is Madison and it's nice to meet you. I was here a couple of months back to pick a wedding dress and I was told to come back today to check on everything and make sure it is set so I could try it on and take it home" Madison said with a smile on her face as she was excited to be marrying the love of her life she met in college.
"Alright please come in and have a seat while I confirm," Mia said to Madison while her hands were prostrated forward giving a sign for Madison to come in and take a seat.
Two minutes later, Mia comes back in to ask Madison for her last name and Madison replies "Steele". Mia goes back in for a minute again and comes back out again telling Madison she was sorry for the delay but she had to clarify everything before she could go in.
Madison was about to stand up when Mia asked her if she came alone and Madison said her friend was going to arrive anytime soon but was stuck in traffic. Mia nodded her head and proceeded to lead Madison to where she'd try on some wedding dresses when she heard her friend, Ella running in to catch up with her.
Madison's face lit up because she was so happy to see that her friend was going to be there while she picked the dress for her wedding. She scolded Ella for being late but gave her a hug for still showing up. Madison understood how hectic Ella's Job could be since she was a journalist but Ella had decided to put everything away and be there for her best friend on her special day and that meant a lot to Madison.
They walked into the room and Mia told them to wait for a while for her to bring the dresses and in the meantime, they could have some drinks and snacks that were left on the table.
A few minutes later, two women walked in with Mia behind them holding onto white beautiful dresses for Madison to pick. Madison and Ella were so happy and Madison couldn't believe she was going to be getting married to the man of her dreams. Not like she was surprised but since she met Aaron in college, she had always had dreams about them getting married and starting a family and it was now coming to reality as she was now in that room, about to pick a wedding dress.
Ella pushed Madison forward to pick a dress from one of the ladies, Madison looked confused as all the dresses were beautiful but eventually picked one to try on.
She went into the dressing room and in five minutes, she came out to show Ella. Ella didn't really the first dress because it was a little bit common and most brides wore it and she wanted her best friend to stand out on her special day so she asked Madison to pick out another dress and try it on.
After picking about five dresses with no one they both liked, Madison picked another one and went into the dressing room to try it on and in five minutes, she came out to show Ella. Ella opening her eyes and placing her hands on her face was wowed with the beauty she had just seen. "You look stunning," said Ella while going around Madison to admire the beauty of the dress. "You like?" Madison asked Ella and her reply was she loved the dress.
Madison loved the dress and went to the mirror to stare at herself with few drops of tears flowing down her eyes as she had always wished for this day to come.
Mia asked Madison if she was okay with the dress and she nodded in agreement Mia proceeded to pack her dress so she could take it home.
Madison moved to Ella laughing and giggling out loud as she was so ready to get married to Aaron.
Madison sorted out the payment and she and Ella walked out of the Bridal suite into Ella's SUV as they drove off
In the car, Madison kept going on about how she could feel butterflies in her tummy from the excitement of her getting married. She was unstable and felt like she was on cloud nine. Ella kept on talking about how Aaron was so lucky to have met a person like Madison and she was happy her best friend was happy. Ella was happy for both of them.
Ella also made a joke to Madison that she would finally lose her virginity to the love of her life and Madison kept blushing because even though she and Aaron had dated all through college and even after they graduated college, they never had s*x.
It wasn't because they didn't want to but Madison had set up a standard for herself that she would only have s*x with one man and she wanted that man to be her husband now that she was going to be married to Aaron, she felt both happy and shy that she was finally going to reveal her body to Aaron and lose her virginity to him.
She was also biting her lip because she couldn't wait for the romance she was going to be getting the next night.
"Snap out of it" Ella shouted at Madison while snapping her fingers in the air for Madison to come back from her daydream.
They both laughed as Ella continued driving the car.
They decided to stop by a cafe to have brunch since they were quite hungry and when they were done, they drove back home and went straight to arrange and set up some things they would be needing for the wedding.
When they were done, it was already evening so they made dinner, watched a little movie and went to bed as the next day was going to be a life-changing day for Madison and her whole life was going to be changed.
The next morning came and Madison was feeling energetic as she woke up. She quickly entered the shower to get ready and as she was done, Ella had already made pancakes and scrambled eggs for breakfast and offered it to Madison because she wasn't going to go to her wedding with an empty stomach.
Madison ate up her food quite fast and this time she was ready to get wed. Ella wore her dress got ready and drove Ella to the venue.
