Lucky for me, Creek Pack wasn’t that far away.
It only took 2 hours for us to get there, and we got there before dusk.
As you would expect, everyone came to grovel at Ezra’s feet.
He didn’t want to be here, so he mostly ignored them.
“Welcome, Alpha King,” Alpha James said with his son and daughter standing behind him.
I looked at the two of them, and it seems like my little hunch might have been correct.
The man was getting older, and he didn’t seem to be aging like fine wine.
Something was wrong with him; werewolves don’t age this fast and this badly.
I watched as he fidgeted uncomfortably, and I knew it.
Ezra was also looking at him; he had seen what I just saw.
And he might not know how it is connected to his father, but he understands that it is.
