I woke up a couple hours later again, at least this time in bed. I woke up to quiet knocks on my van door, they were constant, whoever it was wasn’t going away. I would not be happy if it was some camper needing help at this time, I checked my phone. 3am. Anyone up right now had no business being up.
I got out of bed and made my way to the door, rubbing my eyes. Too much had been going on for me to not lock my door, and obviously with good cause. I opened the door and I was all of a sudden wide awake.
