21. Alliance

Blaze pov

I pull on my black jeans and a black shirt. Looking in the small mirror from my dressing I can see my swallowed red eyes. After I left Evolet 's room last night I went for a walk to clear my mind. It was midnight when I came back to my room. I was so tired but even sleep seems to don't like me now.

Today the meeting about a possible alliance will be held. A meeting I waited so long for.

Tomorrow I'll go back to my Kingdom. Now that both Titus and Enya found their Alters I need to go and take care of everything for their ceremony. More like Titus and Willow's ceremony as Enya will have hers here. She being King Farys Alter means she will also be Queen of Air Kingdom.

I get out of the bedroom and go down where everyone else waited for breakfast.

"King Blaze! Take a seat, please! We will have breakfast and then we'll all go to the conference room for this meeting to be dealt with. "Farys said.

I looked around to see the only space was next to Evolet. 'Amazing! '

When she realised that I'm going to seat next to her, her body tensed. She looked so tired, but still so beautiful.

"Thank you, Farys! But if you don't mind I'll skip breakfast. I don't feel like eating !" I said and immediately felt my eyes on burning holes in my head. I didn't need to turn to know who it is.

"Are you not feeling good, Blaze? "Enya asked worriedly. "It is because of that wound? "

"No, Enya! I'm fine! I'm just not hungry and besides, I need to plan everything for my leaving. I need to go back home!"

A chair scratching on the floor makes all the heads in the room turn their way. Evolet left the room in a blur.

"What's wrong with everybody today?" Oren asked getting up to run after her. But was held back by his mother.

"Let her be, Oren! Women's needs their space sometimes. "she said with a small sad smile, looking at me.'What does that mean? '

"Women's! "Oren added.

Evolet pov

When he said he's leaving tomorrow, I couldn't hold back my tears so I get up and left the room before anyone noticed.

I know I sent him away last night

Buy it was for the best. I can't let anything happen between us! Maybe I don't have an Alter, but he has. Every elemental have. I won't allow myself to fall for him only to have my heart broken in millions of pieces.

I should be happy he's leaving! Will be much easier without seeing him all the time.

"Evolet ?" I heard my mom, but I didn't answer afraid my voice will sound so weak.

"Evolet?Talk to me, please ?"

"What, mom? What's now? Did you and dad finish talking about me and now you want to talk with me?"A flash of pain was visible in her eyes.

"What are you talking about? "

"I'm talking about last night in the kitchen. I heard you! What are you hiding? "I asked.

"Evolet! There you are! Come on, the meeting will start in 10 minutes! "Oren said.

We entered the conference room in a hurry. I couldn't wait for this meeting to end.

"Evolet, Oren please sit! We will begin. "Farys said.

"So we are here for an alliance to be formed. After the last events are anyone who wanted to say something? "

"I think we should all join our forces to stop this madness. We've been at war with the Water Kingdom for 20 years now. You all have seen they have no limits. Kai will try to destroy us when we are apart! "Blaze said

"I agree! "I added without thinking. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy. It was the king who needed to agree.

"Yes, King Blaze..and Evolet are right! "my father said quickly. The blaze was now looking at me, surprised."What about you, Farys?

"I also agree! I wasn't sure at first, nothing personal, Blaze, but after the attack on our Kingdom, there's nothing else to say! So we should sign this alliance and stop King Kai once and for all! "

They all shake hands and then sign the papers. One for each.

"No one is to break this alliance without the other two consent or the punishment will be dead. "Zefir added.

They all got up from their seats, only to be stopped by Blaze.

"There is something else I want to talk about while we're all here."

Everyone sat back in their chairs.

"Let's hear it!" said Farys.

"Now that we all know Titus, my Head Warrior and Willow, Earth Kingdom Head Warrior, are Alters. I will like to organise their ceremony for them. Willow will move to the Fire Kingdom. "

"That's fine with me!" my father said."As long as Evolet and Oren are going with you! So Willow won't feel let down or something. "

"But father..." I said

"No, but Evolet! Think about it! Willow is like your sister. She will be so happy to have you help her!"

"You are right! Forgive me!" I said. I turn my head away to where Blaze was. He had this mischief in his gorgeous golden eyes!

"And I presume Enya will stay here?" Blaze asks Farys.

"Your presumption is right! Your sister is my Alter means she is now the Queen of my Kingdom! So there is no way she will leave! I'll have her ceremony held in two weeks. You are all invited of course! Let's just hope there won't be any water warriors trying to ruin her day, or I'll kill every single one of them!" he said in a deep voice.

"Now that we establish this, the meeting is over! Dinner is at 6! I hope to see you all there!"Farys said looking between me and Blaze.

"So Blaze, when are we going to leave here?"Oren asked excitedly.

"Tonight, after dinner! "

"Did I ever told you how much I wanted to see the Fire Kingdom? My father said..."

"You did, Oren, you did!"Blaze said laughing. I couldn't hold it any longer and I burst into laughter as well. Then Oren joined us.

The Fire Kingdom here we come!
