10. Changes

Blaze pov.

I can believe the kid in my dungeon is King Kai's son. I can use this to my advantage, but then again, will this stop the mad King. Will be the life of his son enough for him to stop this war?

Sipping the golden liquid from my glass I'm thinking what should I do, but as far as I know King Kai he's not gonna stop.

So the only thing, for now, is to ask for help from the other two kingdoms. Air and Earth Kingdoms, both strong and peacefully.Kingdoms that I never visited before. They owe me nothing but is my only chance to stop this war. A war that I didn't ask for.A war that destroyed my life.

The lives of my parents and so many innocent people is a too high price to pay for something I never wanted.

As Titus was still unconscious, I need to take care of the preparations myself. I need to let them know before I go on their land. I don't want unnecessary problems for trespassing.

"Blaze? "I am interrupted from my writing by my sister. I put away the letters to see her standing at the door. "Is everything ok, brother? "

"Yes, Enya. As ok as could be after the loss of so many innocent lives. "She looked down tear threatening to spill from her eyes.

"Maybe if it wasn't for that stupid party, maybe if I didn't choose that city for my birthday.."

"Don't blame yourself, sister!" I said to her." I won't allow you to do that! It's not your fault! Even if you wouldn't choose that city, people were still to celebrate for you! You know that, "I said wiping her tears away. She was crying like a lost kid.

"Enough of this now! We need to take action! The letters for the other Kingdoms are almost ready. I'll need you to find me the faster messager we have. I want them there before tomorrow evening".I said kissing her forehead.

"You're right, brother. I'll go now! I think I know the perfect person for this!"

After about 15 minutes Enya comes back with a skinny, tall, red-haired boy.

"My King! "the kid said bowing.

I just nodded.

"My King, this is Aro. He is the fastest person I know from the whole Kingdom. "

I look at him again head to toe. He didn't seem a strong guy, but there was something about him that made me trust him.

I nodded my head in his direction again.

"Here! I need you to deliver this to the Air and Earth Kingdoms as soon as possible. Give them only to the Kings. No one else is to know about those letters. Understood? "

"Yes, Your Majesty! You should not worry. I will deliver those fast and safe. May I take my leave now? " he said looking me in the eyes.

"Go! Go with the wind speed! "

After the boy left I turn back to my desk pouring another glass of whisky.

"You should eat something, Blaze! You've been in here since yesterday! "

"I will Enya, I will," I said defeat.

"Blaze...I was thinking...Who is going to come with you now that Titus is ..you know..hurt?

"I'll take few Warriors. "

"Can I go?" she said hesitantly but hope obviously in her eyes.

"No, Enya! I need you here! I need someone to stay behind in case there will be another attack while I'm gone. And you are the only person that I trust for that. You and Titus."

"But Blaze..you.."

A loud knock on the door stopped her.

"Come in!" I said

"Your Majesty! It's Titus! He's awake, Your Majesty!

Evolet pov.

It was dark again. But I wasn't dreaming. No. I could hear my parents worried voices yelling for the doctors to come faster, and Oren's cursing.

I tried to open my eyes, but I can't. My lips seem to be glued. I wish I could let them know I'm ok. I don't like when people are worried because of me. Especially when those people were my family.

I heard loud footsteps and a voice asking my parents to move out the way.

Yeah! That's Moira, the royal healer.

"What happened ?"

"I'm not sure Moira! She was dreaming, sweating and screaming! I thought it was a nightmare, again! You know she uses to have those when she was little. But this time something was different. When she opened her eyes, they..they were purple! What is that meaning? Is she gonna be ok? I'm so worried, Moira! "my mom said, sobbing.

"Purple you said? I never have seen anyone with purple eyes before. I'll need to check her. So please step out of the room ."

I heard the door closing behind them. And then a cold thing was pressed on my chest, followed by many other cold things on my arms, head and feet. Then the cold starts to feel warm and after few seconds hot.

An ear-deafening scream escaped my mouth. And the door burst open.

"What the hell is going on? What did you do to her?"Comes Oren angry voice.

"Prepare the bathroom! Quickly! Fill the bathtub with cold water and ice! It looks like her skin is burning!"

I heard more footsteps and then some cold hands lifting my body and place me in the so soothing iced water. I mentally sighed in relief. The voices in the room fading away.

'What was happening to me?'

After what felt like hours, the burning sensation disappeared and I was placed again in the bed.

"Rest my child, rest! And come back to us, please! "I heard my mom. Then the door opening and closes. I was alone.

I feel much better now. I still can't open my eyes, move or talk, but at least there's no pain.

Something is different, but I can't point out what.

Despite my actual state, I feel... stronger?

I feel more alive than I ever felt.

There's some kind of energy flowing through my body. I can feel it. But I don't know what is it.

It's like was always there. But then there wasn't.

I can feel its power, doing something to me, to my body. Changing it. Maybe it should scare me, but it doesn't. I just feel connected with it. With the change from inside me.
