JAYDEN’S POV.
My ears were ringing continuously, and my head hurt badly. I was enveloped in darkness, and my body felt weak, as if I had been deprived of food and water for days. I tried to lift my hands to touch the back of my head, but I could not, it felt like someone was holding them down. What happened? I can't remember anything. Why is it so cold here? I was too tired and dizzy, and I sank back into darkness again.
My eyes slowly opened once more, but the light was too intense for them to bear, so I closed them again. Slowly, I reopened them, trying to adjust. The place was cold and empty.
