I woke up sitting straight up on the bed, head throbbing. What the hell? I’ve been sleeping way too much these days, it’s becoming alarming. When I was working as a cop, I barely slept. It was one case after another. But thanks to Alpha Drexel, he’s made my sleep much better. I turned to the side, empty. Drexel was nowhere to be found. Where the hell did he go? He said I should always stay beside him, and now he’s left me alone. I stood up, wanting to go out. I was super bored in this room. Since I came to his kingdom, I haven’t stepped my feet outside. I’m an explorer, I needed to know what’s going on around me. I tried standing again, but something pushed me back. I did it once more same thing. Oh no. Has Drexel used his powers to lock me here? Or what the hell? I’m not five anymore. I sat down, not knowing what to do. That ugly girl took the bracelet from me, it would’ve been great help right now. Wherever she is, I hope she just comes here and gives it back. And I’m feeling pressed. I needed to pee. Drexel, s**t, I hate you so damn much. If I pee on your bed, I guess it’s all your fault, after all. The heck. I lay back on the bed again since that’s my new job , to always be sleeping. While staring at the ceiling, I heard the door creak open. I sighed in relief. Finally, I’ll get to be free. Foolish me thinking it was Drexel. It turned out to be the ugly girl. Ugh. Thank goddess, at least she’ll be able to get me out of this s**t. Hopefully. She walked in, looking around while I stayed quiet, staring at her. Actually, she’s cute, but she’s deadly and a killer, so to me she’s ugly. “Hii,” I greeted her. She eyed me and kept staring like she was about to kill me. “Why are you staring at me? Do I look strange? ’Cause right now you’re the strange one here.” She laughed like a maniac. “I know your type, slut. I know the kind of people you are. Just because Drexel picked you from the human world doesn’t mean you have any worth here. You’re just a mere sleeping bag after it’s used, you’ll be dumped back where you were picked from. Do you think you’re halfway up to his standards? Do you, you cheapest bin?” I frowned, but I laughed immediately at what she said. “Wait, who are you actually? Because to me you’re just as dumb as your lip combo. Tell me, who the hell mixed those colors together? If you have a thing for Drexel, why not tell him so he’ll consider your ugly being? I don’t think you know me, if you did, you wouldn’t be spitting this rubbish.” She got angry, used her nails, they lengthened instantly...and tried to hit me. But too bad she couldn’t. I laughed, giggling like a baby. “You can’t hurt me.” She was in rage. Never knew when she used the bracelet and freed me while trying to dig her nails into my skin. But trust me...cop Ryv for a reason. I dodged her and threw a vase at her, making her fingers...together with her hand...break. But she isn’t human, so it grew back again. She tried dragging me, but I kicked her, hitting my leg on her belly. I wanted her weak, ’cause I needed one thing: the bracelet. She got weak, but I don’t trust them at all. So I pushed her to the ground again, making her hit her head. Then I dragged the bracelet from her wrist. Speaking in my mind: Let it make her remain paralyzed till Drexel comes. She was stuck there. She tried to move, but couldn’t. I went to her face. “You can try all the hell you want, but you won’t move an inch, bitch..till your boss comes back.” She cried in pain, but me...mission accomplished. Proud to still have my skills intact. Remaining Drexel. I rushed to the bathroom, I needed to answer the call of nature. After peeing, I decided to explore. And when I say explore, I mean I need to know a lot about this kingdom. I walked out of the room and damn the sight of the stairs I beheld was magnificent. So beautiful. But how the hell do I go through these thousands of stairs? It’s weirdly much, actually. Funny how I never climbed a stair while coming here. I looked around for any elevator none. Then I guess that’s the only way out. I started climbing down the stairs. I haven’t even gone half of it and I started breathing hard. No hope, still have a long way to go. I walked. Looks like my curiosity was now in charge of me. When the hell do I finish climbing these stairs? It’s as if they keep increasing, the more I climb, the longer they get. I frowned, sitting at a spot. Then I began thinking, maybe I should just go back up. But I looked at the stairs I’ve climbed and shook my head. Going back is also a huge problem. Immediately something flashed on my wrist. Oh damn, it was the bracelet. I’ve had it all this while and never thought of it. I hissed and told the bracelet: Take me to the garden of the palace. I don’t know why, I just said garden. Within a second or so, I was there already. I just hissed. I’ve been wasting my time all these while. But what was I doing here? It looks beautiful, but exploring the garden wasn’t my main point. I spoke to the bracelet again: Take me to the kingdom market square. Also telling it: Give me plenty of money. Surprisingly, a purse came into my hands. I opened it and saw lots of the kingdom currency, Nyx. At this point, this bracelet is staying with me for life. Cus what the hell? I love love it. I needed to buy things from the market sellers so I could indulge them in different questions about the kingdom. I walked first to where they sell hats. It was a man. I greeted him: “Hii.” He replied with something I don’t understand."Merhaba." I asked, “Don’t you speak English?” He shook his head, saying only Turkish. Pointing to the seller who spoke English. I nodded. “Ok.” I bet I couldn’t understand half of what he said, but I think they made a good point in differentiating languages and buyers...guess it’s an international market. I went over to the English seller and said “Hi.” The young girl answered: “Hey ma’am, what do you wanna get?” I said, “Just give me a hat, dear.” She said, “It’s 200 Nyx, ma’am.” “What’s Nyx?” I asked. “That’s what we accept here in our kingdom, ma’am.” I nodded. “Ohh, thanks.” I wanted to ask her a lot, but Drexel is going to skin me alive when he doesn’t meet me in the palace. I paid her and said, “What’s your name?” She said, “Nevera.” “Ouu, such a nice name.” She smiled. “Thank you, ma’am.” Then I said, “Nevera, can I ask you a few things when next I come if you don’t mind?” She laughed. “You want to learn Turkish?” I nodded. “Of course. Will you teach me?” She smiled. “I’ll, ma’am.” I thanked her and left the shop. I had to teleport back to the palace Drexel’s room. Too bad, he’s going to rip off my skin today. He was sitting on the bed. I came in and quickly tried to hide, making sure he didn’t notice me. But too bad..he caught me before I could. His voice, low, deep, and coarse: “Where are you coming from, Ryvessa?” I stood thinking of what to say, then I began stuttering: “I… I… ermm… I went to get something.” Immediately, I don’t know when he speed-walked to me. This man has a lot of powers, what the hell. He got to me and began laughing so hard he held my shoulder while laughing. I don’t even know why...I just joined him because the laugh was really contagious.
