Naina's POV

Before I even knew it, it was already twelve days since Kabir went to Delhi. Due to the time difference in these past twelve days we hardly talked, also to be very honest I tried to avoid him as much as it was possible! In fact once when we were talking he asked me about the appointment and what the doctor said about my health. I swear at that moment I was almost on the verge of breaking down but somehow I changed the subject after telling him not to worry as everything is fine. After that, he never asked me about anything which made me uncomfortable. But today I was missing him terribly.

Even day before yesterday I talked to Dr.Verma again as I know certain people with this problem and as far as I know, they all have conceived without any complications. It was a risky thing to do as I didn't want my heart to be broken again! Somehow I have to get over this fact and there is a hope that maybe at the end everything will turn out be great eventually but Dr. Verma's words broke my heart all over again.

You know Naina I was myself wondering this that why haven't you asked me this yet! But dear your case is special although it doesn't matter whether your periods are regular or not but as I said your womb is not very healthy it's too delicate......we can only hope Naina as I said previously also Don't lose hope.. she said to me again as if she was understanding what I was going through! After that I never called her again now I just have to tell all this to Kabir......

I don't know why but right now I just wanted him to hold me and never let me go ever. I also still have to figure out how I am going to tell him about everything the doctor said and these what if's are not doing any good...

"What are you going to wear tonight?" Kia asked me bringing me back to earth.

"Blue chiffon Saree," I said to her to which she smiled.

"Great. I am going to wear this" she said showing me without sleeves classy black knee length black dress with a sweet neckline.

Currently, I was in my room and we both were discussing the preparations for tonight! From today all the functions of Kia's wedding are starting and tonight is a cocktail party.

"Woww! It's beautiful, Vedh is definitely going to faint when he will see you in this" I teased her and for the first time I saw her blushing.

"Ooh my God, Kiara you are blushing!!!" I teased her further and she hit me playfully on my arms.

"When is Kabir going to come?" She asked me, quickly changing the subject.

"Next week on the day of your wedding," I said sadly.

"Ohoo it's fine.... come on girl you are totally whipped you know this," She said rolling her eyes earning a glare from me.

Then we burst out laughing and I threw the pillow on her which she catched on time and then we both were fighting with a pillow like a kid. We both were sitting on the bed within minutes to catch our breath as we both are too lazy.....

"You are looking breathtaking Naina," Emma said the moment she saw me and engulfed me in a bear hug.

"You are too are looking resplendent," I said and she indeed was looking beautiful in a beige colour gown.

"Where is Kia?" I asked Emma as she was with her from the evening.

She is over there, Emma pointed in a far corner where Kia was talking on the phone. I wondered to whom she was talking at this point.

"Kia?" I said and she stiffened listening to my voice.

"Umm Naina you are looking gorgeous," She said with a smile which didn't reach her eyes. Before I could ask her anything my name was called and I have to go the stage to give a speech.

"Thank you let's go now," I said but my heart was beating too wildly it was as if Kabir was somewhere near me!

I just hope he is fine. There is no way he can be here anyway. Last time when we talked he said maybe he even might not be able to attend the marriage too so it is definitely not possible that he is here! But my heart was pounding like it is going to explode any minute now. Calming my racing heart I went near the stage.

"Over to you Naina" Akash, the host of tonight's party said.

"Hello everyone thank you for coming tonight as because of all you people my best friend is smiling. I still remember the day we met. We were ten year old or so and honestly We were never best friends, infact in the beginning we never get along really well. I still remember we use to play together in the park with our so many other friends but unfortunately, our friendships with them was short termed but we became best of friends. I have seen her every phase, I have covered for her every time she got into trouble. She is genuinely the best thing happened to me. We have discussed every single and minute detail that there were times we both were ourselves astounded as to what the hell we are talking about. From the beginning we wanted to be together just the way we were back in Delhi. I really want to say one thing I have never seen a person as stubborn as Kia is but she is the most caring person I have ever met and I am glad that she is in my life! Even today I am glad that she is marrying someone whom she loves. I am really lucky to have a friend like you Kia. I never admitted this fact before but I am gonna say it out loud that I really love you and I am really going to miss you a lot." I said With happy tears in my eyes.

Kia just engulfed me in a bone crushing hug. We were crying like we were actually leaving each other for forever. But honestly these past two months I survived here it was just because of Kia. She is truly the best friend one could ever have. She is the most amazing person I have ever met.

"You are going to ruin your make-up!" I chided her but she hugged me.

"It is because of you why you have to give such an emotional speech there?" She asked me wiping her tears with the back of her hand.

I just rolled my eyes at her, she seriously behaves like a kid what was there to cry!

"Okay fine sorry! Happy... now stop crying otherwise Vedh will kill me if he sees you like this" I said and she blushed. What is with her and blushing today!

"Now people we have a very exciting performance coming up so hold your breath ladies as..." before Akash could compete the lights went off and my heart was beating way too wildly.

Then when the lights were focused on the centre of the stage, what I saw was something I never imagined I would be witnessing. Kabir was there in a black tuxedo with a black tie and white crisp shirt. He was looking hot beyond my imagination that every girl was drooling over him but his eyes were fixed on me twinkling with happiness and the love that he have for me..

Firstly he went to Vedh and Kia to congratulate them but his eyes were fixated on me and I was still feeling like it was all a sham , no way Kabir can be here it has been only twelve days since he went there and also last time when we talked he told me he might not be able to make it to the wedding but there he was right in front of looking straight into my eyes.

"Hey missed me?" He asked pleased with himself pulling me in his embrace kissing my neck. For me it was as if I was hallucinating! But then with a jerk, he pulled me more close to him if that was even possible that our bodies were pressed together...

"This one is for you" he whispered into my ear and then all I know is a beautiful song played in the background and can you believe what song it was??

It was from Ranbir kapoor movie song "sajde me unhi zhukta hun tumpe aake rukta hun" from the movie bachna ae haseeno. Honestly, it was like I was living a dream and Kabir was the one who was fulfilling every dream of mine. We both were lost in each other. Kabir was holding me closely by my waist and was lipsing the lines of the song.

He was dancing soo well but I was doing nothing just staring into his beautiful eyes which were speaking volumes and reflecting how much I matter to him...

Finally, the song ended and everybody clapped this is what brought me back to reality.

"How was the surprise?" Kia said to me and my eyes widened knowing she knew Kabir was coming today, in the morning only she asked me when was he coming. Not that I was complaining but this is the best surprise Kabir had given me ever.

"Now you two just go," Vedh said to Kabir and was beyond confused now. What the hell is happening?

Then Kabir took my hand in his and we were both checking in a hotel room which was in the same hotel where Kia's cocktail party was going on.

"Kabir....." I wanted to ask soo much from him but he put his finger on my lips, his eyes darkened and the way he was looking at me I knew what his intentions were.

"Shh Naina. No more questions. I know you want to ask me so much but that all can wait. Let me hug my wife first properly" He said and buried his head in the crook of my neck, my hands were automatically around his neck..

I was lost in the fragrance of his cologne and finally felt at peace since from the morning I wanted this and not to forget I was craving for his touch.

What a night It had turn out to be but this night is surely going to be a long night as there are certain things which Kabir has a right to know but for now, I just want him to hold me and for the first time I wanted time to stop forever. This moment cannot be better more than it already is and is one of the most cherished moments of my life………
