The Alpha's Luna

The b****y war which broke out sixty years ago between the werewolves and the vampires led to the death of so many loved ones. The werewolf clan lost their powerful King known as King Audrey, and it was rumored his powerful son that took after him died that same day and the werewolf clan was left with no King. King Audrey is the first Alpha in history that got married to two wives when normally a werewolf is to be mated with one female wolf. The elders of the pack held a meeting years ago and agreed to make Keda the king's second son Alpha and ruler of the clan. Many of the werewolf clan still find it difficult to believe the rumor of Ricky the king first son that is powerful being dead, everyone knows it's difficult for a dire wolf to die easily, but there was no evidence to show, and they had no choice but to respect King Keda as their Alpha. The humans were not free to make their rules after the war because of their silly act of joining the vampires to fight against werewolves. It was mandatory that each human family is to make a sacrifice to the werewolf clan and failure to do so, the King will marry their youngest daughter or do whatsoever he pleases with her then if a family have no female child, he turned the men to slaves and the family won't set eyes on their son again. The family of the whites had just a daughter named Laura, she is tall, slim, and curvy, the most beautiful maiden in the human home. She got enchanting eyes and tempting lips, she is white like snow. Laura just completed nineteen and has a best friend called Rex. Rex has been Laura's friend since childhood, but there are some secrets he kept from her and hopes to reveal to her when the time is right in the future. They both went hunting as usual and caught a big deer, "Rex, we are going to make enough money with this." "Sometimes I wonder how you became a female, hunting is meant for a male and not the other way around," Mac responds sitting on the ground. "This is why I hate this generation, you all feel females are weak and can't do anything at all but all the same, I understand, but please do not tell father I went hunting." She said giving him the puppy look. "What a girl, this is what you always do to change my mind, well no problem I won't tell them." "Yes, thank you best friend, you are the best." "Saying nice words because I am helping out with a favor, how pathetic," Rex replied looking at her in disbelief. "I know you will always say that. Anyway, what do you think about us being punished by the werewolf clan? We can't even do things freely, they are animals, and we are humans." "Shhh." Mac covered her mouth and checked around to see if anyone was listening to their conversation. "Do you want to get into trouble with your tongue? The werewolves are more powerful than us and there is nothing we can do to break free." Rex explained in a low tone. "I know that, but we are not their property, I know we made a mistake years ago according to what I read in stories, we joined the vampires to fight against them, can't they forgive and let bygone be bygone?" "I wish it's as simple as that, but anyway at least we are not slaves except we break the rules." "I heard King Keda ought not to be king, why is he on the throne?" "Oh my dearest Laura, not everything should be known. The King's first son died, and it's Alpha Keda's right to become King." "But I heard from some werewolves some days ago, they said the King's first son is a dire wolf, and they don't believe he is dead, a dire wolf can't be killed easily, but they got no evidence, why don't we search for one, maybe..." He covered her mouth saying, "I know where this conversation is heading, I will take you home now." "Just listen to what I have to say." "There is no way I will listen when what you are saying is impossible Laura, I don't want us getting into trouble, enough of the werewolf clan history, let's focus on the present which is us now." She exhaled saying, "Okay fine." "I got informed your family is the next to give their sacrifice to the king, are you prepared to go the Alpha home?" He inquires about her. "How can I not be prepared when I have no choice at all?" Her countenance suddenly changed and Mac notice it, he decided to cheer her up by saying, "What if I go with you? We can do some adventures there before the King finally sees you accept the gift." "Yes, thank you." She smiled fully and jumped out of her excitement knowing she won't be going in alone. "You are welcome, damn, I am starving like hell, let me take you home, so I can return to my place and make something to eat." "Join us for lunch at my place then? You know my family love having you around?" "Okay then, let's get going." "And don't you forget about my shares when you sell the deer." She added and they busted into serious laughter. * Laura was sleeping when she had a nightmare, she found herself in a strange place filled with dead people, the whole place was painted with blood, and she got scared. "Anyone here? What happened here?" She asked expecting a response but no one replied. "Father, mother, Rex where are you all? I am so scared and lonely here." She added with tears gathered in her eyes. Suddenly a beautiful lady with an arrow pierce in her heart grabbed her hands saying, "Bring him back."..... TBC....
