Search for the lost Alpha

Alpha Keda sat close to the waterfall enjoying the sight of the waterfall waiting for the maid he sent on an errand to return.

"Where is she?" He asked in a harsh tone.

They could not give a response, he looked at them and gave another order, "Get me wine, forget about the scroll and when you see her, tell her she will be punished for keeping the Alpha waiting for long."

"Yes, Alpha Keda." Another maid rushed to get the wine for him and served him as well.

The other maids wondered what exactly could have kept their friend that long.

He emptied the wine and got a mind link from the supreme Elder.

"The meeting has been concluded, Alpha Keda."

"Good, come to the waterfall, I am there now," Keda replied to him, and he responded positively.

In less than twenty minutes, the supreme elder got present already with the Alpha, he bowed and blew air with his hands to respect the Alpha base on their custom.

"You may rise and give me the brief."

"The major challenge is you getting a mate now." He gave a weird smile.

"Is that a challenge? You should know I haven't met my mate already." Alpha Keda questioned him, and he apologized for taking things wrongly.

"Alpha Keda, you know the custom demand once a King is made, a queen should be by his side. I have a feeling the people are unhappy about it." He said and Alpha Keda gave a fake smile.

"What did you tell the elders?"

"After the next full moon, a queen should be by your side." The supreme elder replied.

"Good one, I am happy to have you as my Supreme Elder, now you gave them a good response, I believe they will be hoping to witness it, make it happen."

The Supreme Elder got shocked to hear the Alpha requesting the action of his response to being done by him.

"But how can I make that happen?"

One thing the Alpha hates is when his words are questioned, his blues eyes glow and immediately the Elder fell on his knees to apologize saying, "Forgive me, Alpha Keda for questioning you, it won't repeat itself again."

"I am glad you know your offense, just make it happen, make sure a queen is available to present after the next full moon as you said." Alpha Keda said standing up on his feet.

"Yes Alpha Keda, I shall make it possible."

"Good, I believe some human families are to come with sacrifices today right?" He inquired.

"Yes, Alpha Keda."

"I still need more slaves, if any family fails to respond to the degree, make sure their young ones are taken from their family and make them my slaves." He added and the Elder nodded.

Alpha Keda left him heading to his room to have a rest when he thought of many things.

He also believes his stepbrother is very much alive and feels threatened by it, he was one of the people that got excited when his stepbrother could not be found after the war, and his mother made it possible to convince the counsel about his stepbrother's death and by right, he had to be the next king.

In the Alpha home, there are so many secret doors leading to many places not known to the outsiders of the Alpha home.

He left with this medium to meet with the shadow Twins whom he paid heavily to look for his dead stepbrother. He wants to make sure truly his stepbrother meant his end sixty years ago.

"Alpha Keda, we greet you." The shadow twins went on their knees, bowed, and blew air with their hands.

"Tell me the news?" Alpha Keda requested.

"The rumors are true, we have searched everywhere and there was no sign of your stepbrother." One of the twins responded.

"Maybe his body got burnt, you are the Alpha now and no one can rub you off the title." The other said and Keda kept mute for some time.

"I still have this feeling that he might be out there but since you can't find his body, you might be right that it got burned."

"What should be our next mission for you Alpha Keda?" They requested from him.

"I want you to find out about the vampires, their secret hideout, I want their kids to be wiped out completely."

"We shall do that then, will send Rhoda in case we come up with any update about the vampire kind."

"Good then, see you soon when there is news, make sure no one knows I hired you." He warned them and they nodded.

Alpha Keda returned to his room when his mother stepped in, "Greetings mother."

"Come over here, son." Her mother opened her arms wide to embrace her son.

Her mother always wished for her first son to be the Alpha king, and she did her best to make it happen.

"After the humans are done seeing you with their sacrifices, I want us to have a family dinner with your stepmother as well."

"She won't accept it mother, and you know that?"

"That is exactly what I want, she has been indoors since the war, who knows what she is planning against you if she refuses, you are the king, lock her up or kill her, we need to be sure they have no negative plans about you."

Alpha Keda's stepmother could be seen in a room looking so dirty and unkempt, she heard a doll which she calls her son.

"Ricky my only son, it's been sixty years, I know you can't be dead." She busted into serious tears when she heard a crash that made her step outside.

She saw someone covering up with a veil and when the eyes looked at hers, the person ran off, but she froze thinking deep, "Those eyes look so familiar, Ricky??" She said and when she looked again the person was nowhere to be found....
