Ralph said to him many times during this beating, “Don't you ever breathe my girl's name, or think about her again, you son-of-a-b***h. If I ever hear of you speaking her name again I will kill you sure as hell is on fire.” Then Ralph would knock Raiford down, and the cycle of Ralph dragging Tom out of the dirt and starting to beat on him again would start all over again. This went on for quite some time. At one point, he smiled in Ross's direction and said, “I haven't had this much fun since the old days, Ross.” Then he repeated the same punches on Raiford again. Raiford fell, Ralph picked him up and hit him again until Raiford fell again, and he did it all over again.
