I was really scared to turn my gaze to see who it was. my body was trembling and I needed to rush to see my mother, I drew in a deep breath, hoping it'll not be one of the enemies.
I gulped hard.
"why are you trespassing in our fields? we are taking you to our crone" another voice chimed in. I was scared now the only option left was to run, I don't want to be held captive, even though I still don't have much time.
" Please....". words were cut short in my throat when I was forcefully jacked into a forceful grip. I turned to see their gazes, it was deadly and full of rage.
but I couldn't utter a word, I was stunned when I noticed a man who seemed to be in his early twenties, he had long silver hair, his Hazel green eyes were stunningly beautiful and his cherry red lips were kissable. he has pale white skin, and his touch was cold. he was so handsome.
"yeah I know I'm handsome, you don't have to stare at me like that.." he smirked.
my face turned crimson red in embarrassment, I didn't know my gaze was evident.
when we started walking toward the deepest part of the forest, I found myself feeling slightly frustrated, because I have just three weeks to get the blood of the vampire king. but here I was taken to an unknown coven.
"where are you taking me to?" I asked.
" to our crone ". the handsome man replied, he was looking not only handsome but also intimidating, he has that Aura, that demands respect.
"why ?".
"for trespassing in our lands and having the guts to drink water from our fountains".
"but it was not intentional, I...I was just.."
" no more words Wolf, we have seen many like you, who acted innocent, just to come here and trespassed on our lands," he said.
but the two men who had a firm hold on me were unperturbed and didn't utter a single word.
when we reached the coven I noticed the place was beautiful, with the evidence of flowers, and the surroundings of the of the building.
"This place looks beautiful " I commented.
but before I could say a word, I was roughly shoved into a large hall, I noticed a woman who has silver hair and a tiara embroidered with diamonds.
"what has she done?".
"she was drinking water from our fountains," the handsome man said respectfully.
"I'm sorry your majesty, but I was thirsty," I said, trying to find a way out of this. she gave me a scrutinizing look.
" Gideon, take her to my room".
"but your of your highness...".
"no more words, I. said. take. her. to.my room" she stress every word.
I gulped hard while looking at the woman in front of me, her matching brown eyes, made me shudder, they were cold and indifferent, could it be she was planning to kill me, I really can't tell.
my heart almost leaped out of my throat when Gideon touched my wrist, he came close to me and he yelled, his voice was hoarse and demanding.
" don't get too comfortable in that room, because...."
" shut up Gideon, now go back to your duty " the silver-haired woman, came to me and gave me a scrutinizing look, she still maintained her cold gaze and it made me feel so scared.
I sank in a deep breath when I thought about my mother, the thought of how she was battling with her life, came hitting me like a hammer, I was scared and I don't want anything to happen to her.
I need to leave this place and start my journey to the vampire king.
"where were you going to?" she asked, still maintaining a straight face, I stare at her, I wondered how she knew I was going somewhere.
"I... was going to the vampire kingdom" I stuttered, she was calm and cold, and it makes me scared.
" you say the vampire kingdom? a wolf going to a vampire kingdom?" she laughed, but it didn't reach her eyes.
"yes...I know is risky and I know how vampires hate wolves, but I'm desperate, I want to save my mother, she's dying" I blurted out those words hurriedly and my eyes welled up.
before I could understand what was happening, I was slowly breaking down and I needed time alone to think properly.
" what is wrong with your mother?" she asked.
"she was speared with a deadly- poison-laced spear and the witch said that she can only completely cure her with ...the blood of the vampire king" I found myself confiding in her, despite the fact she was cold and doesn't show her emotions.
there was something about her, that makes me want to tell her my fears and pains.
she came close to me and hugged me, which took me aback.
"I can feel your pain because I have been there several times," she said to me, and I noticed her gaze softened. I saw the pain and hurt, behind those brown orbs.
"I'm sorry" I apologized.
"for what?"
"for voicing out my pain, without trying to know what you might have experienced in life as well," I said While trying to calm down.
I drew in a deep breath. she let go of me and said.
" you need to go to bed and rest, then tomorrow you can embark on your journey".
" but I don't have much time"
"I understand, but you need to rest and also a good plan before you can go there, is very risky the go there without a plan," she said, I nodded at her words. she was right.
she was right, I was feeling tired, after some time, my eyes felt heavy then I doze off to an unending slumber.
I felt so relaxed, when I woke up, I noticed Gideon was standing next to me and he was all dressed up.
" get ready... let's leave".
