CHAPTER FIFTEEN
(SCOTT)
The guys are meeting the ladies today, we’ve decided to meet at my place and preparation have been going on since 6am, I can’t believe there’s so much to prepare for just a meet and greet, Mrs. Allen have been fussing over what to cook and the different types of dishes that should be serve, I was even ask to reset my living room, I can’t believe this, it’s like we are having a party or something.
“Is this necessary, I asked Mrs. Allen, for what seems like the thirtieth time today.”
“Of course it is, you are having leaders of various clan over to your place to meet their mate, the place should have a nice and relaxing setting, not its usual all male and domineering setting.”
“I can’t wait for this to be over.”
“Why, are you nervous.”
“No, so I can have my house back, this place look so not like me with the flowers, feather rug and all, am pretty sure all this is not necessary to make them relax, it has more to do with you wanting to redecorate my place.”
“Now young man what are you talking about, I have no idea what you mean.”
“I bet you do, just not admitting it.”
“Whatever you say.”
“They are here, hope everything is prepared,” Maddox asked.
“Took them forever,” I sigh under my breath.
“What about the ladies, when are they coming.”
“I have no idea, but Anna is coming from her University, she has some things to check up on.”
“I think they will all take their time just to make you all sweat it.” Maddox said with a smile.
He has a point; I have a feeling the ladies might not show up on time just to irk us.
“How’s your relationship with Anna.” Mrs. Allen asked.
“It’s going well, but she’s still a little bit worried about the curse, but we are working our way through that.”
“How?” Maddox asked.
“I told her not to think too much about it, we are going to get through it together in one piece and I will never betray her to break the curse.”
“And she believes you.”
“Why not, I was telling the truth.”
“There was a knock on the door, so I know the guys have finally arrived.”
Maddox open the door and led them into the living space, they all look different, I guess I was not the only one who play dress up, they look groomed.
“You are all looking fine.”
“Same can be said for you as well my friend.” Cade replied.
“None of the ladies has arrived?” Alexander asked.
“No, they’ve not.”
‘Do you have any idea when they will, did any of them tell you when they will be arriving.”
“None of them do, but Anna will be running late because she has something she’s doing at her school today.”
“That’s not a problem, she’s not really the reason we are all here, we all know she’s yours.” Cade said.
“Yeah, what we are most curious about are the others.” Alexander said.
“Alright, we will just have to wait for them to show up.” I replied.
“What other options do we have.” Alexander asked.
With a raised eyebrow Cade answered him, “You sound like you are not sure if being here is right for you, were you forced into coming?”
With a scowl he replied, “I was just stating the fact.”
“He kind of have a point, it’s just doesn’t sound right, I mean what other options do we have than to sit here and wait for them to show up.” Seth input.
“Whatever.” Cade said.
