Day 1
They say if you can't sleep because of thinking too much, you can write to release it so here I am.
People usually sleep at night but for us who are with the BPO industry also known as "Call Center" here in the Philippines, we sleep in the morning or the afternoon. I am on a graveyard shift so I should be sleeping at least at 1:00 PM to at have a 6 hour sleep before my shift but it's hard.Being in the industry for more than 6 years I should be used to it especially that we are now on a work from home set up or so I thought. My mind just won't let me sleep on the time I am supposed to so let me share with you my intrusive thoughts.
It's Thursday morning and I was just done with my work.Feeling sleepy but my mind is losing it.Thinking what to eat after I wake up, sinigang? Our bell pepper will spoil, what dish to make? I am hungry but so lazy to eat.Ugh, thinking back I really like to eat healthy but are there Filipino dish that is healthy? I only know penakbet, diningdeng and chopsuey but it's hard to make. Thus, I will make sinigang with a lot of pork fat.
I just moved out of my parents house a few days ago. It's been tiring cleaning and organizing things. Finally, I am done settling in and it's the first time I feel so quiet. It's as expected living in a small house made up with ply wood.I mostly blame the noise at our house in the last why I can't sleep.I am the last child of 6 siblings, and I had lived with my 5 sibling with their family.Being the second one to move out is a big step for me. Comparing my current home is mostly what I think these days.
Browsing that popular app where you can learn just about anything , I have seen a lot of people promoting free lancing jobs as a virtual assistant and it interests me.They say they can have up to 100,000 pesos wage per month. Feels like a scam but I gave the benefit of the doubt.I tried checking websites that were mentioned and skills that are required, thus I don't think a lot of people can or are suited for that kind of job. They make it sound so easy like anyone can actually do the same and I don't agree on the way that they don't give at least a follow up video of what the job is really about.Maybe it's just me being pessimist about it but the job needs commitment, time and skill.I just hope they disclose it not just the maximum wage they can get and saying that anyone can do it as long as they have access of the internet because it's not true.I do love content creators that gives free training if some one is interested. Provides materials and tips on how to start your free lancing journey.Disclose hardship that you will encounter and the right range of wage you will get. Feeling lucky I found that kind of creator.I started following her page and took a chance on micro tasks that I can use as a part time though I am not yet confident with my current skill but I hope it works out.Any that's it for today. Good night!
