Chapter 14: Wild Minion

Iris cuffs in her both wrists are hurting. It was a cuff that her mother gave to her. It is a restraining item used for a slave and an item to use in commanding them. A blue collar of Gobi and this cuff is a pair item. If the cuff was worn, their natural stats would be lowered because these items will absorb them. Minion is a race who's agility and speed outstand the other so if she uses the item to them it would restrain their agility stats. While the collared is used for the slaves to follow them. She did not want to use a cuff and collar to Gobi but her dad and real mother insisted.

The blue collared - Use to follow the orders of their owner and control the slave. It would not restrained their special traits. 

The cuff - It was used to restrain their power. It's going to absorb the special traits of the race but it is not used for controlling.)

Because they said that minion is dangerous without this things. And these things are the only one who can at least restrain them.  Iris agreed to collared him as a sign that Gobi is a domesticated minion that could be controlled and not some wild monsters or race. But she refused to cuff Gobi too which her parents reconciled, they treat Gobi as a harmless demon. But after her mother died. Her stepmom cuffed her wrist. She said to her father that Iris is the one who cuffed it on her own body. The people believed her step mom. Because Iris is naughty ever since young. 

Her dad told her that it would not be removed until there is another minion who will shoulder it for her. Gobi is now tied to the blue collar and will listen to her. If it was put to Gobi it may cause a negative reaction now because it is already put in her body which is a demi-human who's natural strength is overwhelming compared to a minion. The excess strength of Iris which the cuff absorbed could be a poison to Gobi. Meaning what her father said is a sacrifice minion to shoulder the restraining power in the cuffed. Iris didn't know that, she just knew that she needed another minion to give the cuffs to it but didn't know that it may hurt them.

Iris slept in the camp shelter and was tired after crying. She just woke up when she heard a noise outside. 

"Iris honey, your dad is here. Welcome him." The soft and gentle voice from outside made Iris tremble. Yet aside from that, her eyes cannot help but dampen. 

"Dad!" She immediately stood up, and rushed outside. 

Seeing the demi human who's got a big build. His two horns are big and strong and his silver hair. Adrenaline rushed inside Iris' body and immediately jumped on his body. 

"Dad!" 

Xien saw her adorable little child whose face is the carbon copy of his beloved one. He fastened to tie his horse in the pole near his shelter and opened his arms as wide as he could. 

Iris immediately jumped on his arms. Hugging his neck, she uttered a soft and small voice. "I miss you dad." 

Xien chuckled and hugged her back. "I miss you too dear." He kissed her forehead and his hug tightened. 

Dopelin who is staring at them bit her lips. She hiddenly hissed at the loving act of the father and daughter. Although Xien is poor, he is still a handsome full fledged demon. And many demi-humans fell in love with his astounding looks. 

She swayed her butt, and elegantly walked near them and put a charming smile on her face. "Honey, Iris really missed you. She went outside the camp to look for you outside. When I'm not looking." She lowered her head and acted guilty, "I am sorry, I didn't watch her well."

"What? Iris!" Xien stared at his daughter unbelievably, "Outside is dangerous. What if other race spies found you? Stop being naughty dear." He scolded, his tone is harsh but Iris could see the worry in his amethyst eyes. 

Iris felt wronged. Her stepmom made her do it. But she is scared that her father will not believe her. "I'm sorry father. I just miss you."

"Okay, don't cry anymore dear. Just listen to your mother."  He carried her in his arms while consoling her. 

"Where is Gobi?" His eyes scanned the surroundings but still didn't see his little child's minion. 

"Eh? Gobi and Minny are not home yet?" Iris put a confused mark on her face. 

"Minny?" Xien looked at his daughter, and put his eyes to Dopelin. But the latter didn't know what to answer. 

"Captain Xien! Gobi is outside the gate of the camp, it brought a wild minion." One of the soldiers rushed to them and reported something that made Iris happy.

"Daddy, Goby is with Minny. They just come back home." She smiled showing her beautiful white teeth.
