Prologue
The Gods and Goddesses sat around the oval table trying to come to an agreement about how this century would go. Fate is just watching and listening in. Seeing her younger sister Selene, the Moon Goddess, oblivious to the conversation in front of her. Fate knew that this conversation would go nowhere. Hades is a hot head just like his parents and the other gods are just going to piss him off.
"Don't you think it is time for our children to experience peace and harmony, Hades? They have suffered long enough and there is no reason to follow in our parents' footsteps." Said Allouisa, Goddess of the Fae.
"Are you willing to unbind my children to the night?" Hades spat.
"Hades, be reasonable. Even without your guidance, your children are always hungry for blood and power." said Poseidon, God of the water nymphs.
"Well, if your parents didn't give my parents bullshit ingredients to make a supernatural being, they would not have come up with it. And I know damn well you are all not willing to let me create something new, so forget it." he said.
"Your intentions are not pure Hades, so you're right, we won't. You and your parents have always had despicable motives and we aren't fools. I'm honestly just surprised you take us for fools." Illiana, Goddess of the dreamers spoke.
"SCREW YOU WOMAN! YOU ALL TAKE ME FOR A FOOL AND I WILL NO LONGER STAND FOR IT. MY PATIENCE HAS BEEN TESTED AND YOU ALL WILL FEEL MY WRATH. IF YOU ALL WOULD HAVE JUST JOINED ME WHEN I HAD OFFERED, THIS MEETING WOULD NOT HAVE OCCURED THE WAY IT IS, BUT NO! YOU ALL BELITTLE ME! I WILL MAKE YOU ALL REGRET AND REMEMBER WHO I AM AND WHAT YOU CONDEMNED MY LINEAGE TOO!"
with that Hades burst into a unique blue and purple sparkling flame.
"Well, that just means up in arms people. We don't know what will happen this century or what Hades has planned. I know all of you felt off when he offered us to join him." Poseidon pointed out.
Fate just smirked, she knew what was going to happen. After all, she was the only one who did not pass her title down and was the one to live for eons. As the meeting dispersed, she saw her little sister still watching her children and making pairs. Although all of them were not ideal pairs, some were irresseparable.
Fate chuckled, "Little sister, did you catch any of the meeting that was just happening?". Selene looked up and smiled, "Oh, all of that business is complete nonsense, there will not always be peace and harmony, there is only balance. Those other gods just want to be oblivious to that, so they don't fear their lineage will be wiped out and the life that was created in their immortality vanishes." Fate was always proud of her younger sister. She may be witty and sarcastic but she was smart. "Alright little sister, very knowledgeable of you. I will be seeing you love." Fate spoke. Soon after their conversation, Fate sat above all the kingdoms smirking. The wages were set, and as the wind blew, it carried her blessing to the one who caught her eye. Little did the gods and goddesses know. Zeus, her father, said if any of his children disobeyed the balance of light and dark, a piece of their powers was to be bestowed on one of their children.
