UNEXPECTED

CHAPTER 7:I LOVE YOU

 Draco carried Rosie to her room and laid her down. Alice gave him the first aid kit and he wiped Rosie's bruises. Her dress was torn in certain places. Alice made him some hot chocolate and he drank that. Draco stood up to leave the room when someone held his hand. Rosie had woke up. She tried to sit straight up but she couldn't. She asked Draco to help her stand up and he did so.

       Rosie tumbled and was about to fall but Draco kept hold of her. He asked her to sit but she wouldn't listen. With Draco's help, she walked near the stairs but as soon as she stepped down, she lost her balance. Fortunately, Alice was coming up at that moment and hold her. Draco and Alice brought Rosie to her room and sat her down on the bed. Alice handed her a cup of hot chocolate and asked her how she was feeling.

"I don't feel that good," Rosie replied. "Why is this all happening to me?"

"It's not your fault," Alice said holding her hand.

"Why is everyone like this?"

"Rosie, calm down," Draco said.

"Can't I live happily?"

"I'll let you both talk," Alice told Draco, leaving the room.

"Rosie, look. They are just insane,"

"No, they are not,"

"Forget about it,"

"I can't. I was about to end my only family's life,"

"No, that's not true,"

        Draco tried convincing Rosie but she kept blaming herself. He then just planted a kiss on her cheek. She was shocked but didn't resist. He whispered that it was not her fault. She sobbed but she knew that there was someone for her. He asked her to change her clothes before going to sleep and was about to leave the room when Rosie held his hand. "Will you always be there for me?" He kissed her forehead and said, "I will. I promise," and left the room.

         Still, on the bed, Rosie looked out her window. She thought about everything that was happening. She tried standing up and walked towards her bathroom to take a bath before changing her clothes. As she takes off her clothes and stepped into the bathtub, her wounds started burning. She controlled it and took her bath then changed into her shorts. Then, she aided her bruises and bandaged them before going to bed.

       The next morning, wearing a short dress, Rosie was eating breakfast with Alice. Alice asked her to rest at home and to just work from home. They didn't have classes for that day as it was still the weekend. As Alice was about to leave the house to buy groceries, Draco's car pulled over. He asked where Rosie was and asked about their plan for tonight. It was Rosie's birthday the next day and they had planned to surprise her.

       They plan to have their surprise party at the beach. Draco was to distract Rosie for the whole day whereas Alice will prepare for the party with Asher and some of their friends. The beach was nearby the house so they planned to bring Rosie out until the preparations were done and bring her back on time. Draco said goodbye to Alice and went to the room which was on the left end upstairs. Rosie will usually be in the room doing something she loves when she was sad or depressed.

       It was a high-tech room----the whole house was high-tech and each place can be changed according to what the owner likes at that moment with just pressing a few buttons. The room looks like normal ones but it is a special one just for Rosie because if she pressed the button which was on the left side of the room, the walls will open up and glass windows will cover the place as the walls. The room overlooks the beach that's why it was Rosie's favorite room as she is a nature lover.

       Draco stood outside staring at Rosie who was dancing gracefully through the glass door. She was beautiful and her bends were just perfect. He couldn't take his eyes off her. He quietly went inside and she bent to the side, he placed one hand on her waist and held her hand with his right hand. He danced together with her,making perfect turns and finally carrying her up in the air before perfectly landing her down. She smiled at him and asked why he was there.

"I came to take you out today,"

"Where?"

"Surprise. You will be with me the whole day,"

"But---"

"You're coming and that's final,"

"I think---"

"No need to think. This will be our first date,"

"Uhmm...Excuse me?Date?"

"Yup. Now go and get ready,"

          Rosie went to her room and changed into a pair of jeans and T-shirt.She carried her phone and purse downstairs where Draco was waiting for her. They got into Draco's car and went away. He drove far away and finally stopped. When Rosie got out, she saw a forest in front of her. She asked him why he had brought her to the woods and he just replied that this was not like any other forest. From the outside, it looked like a normal creepy forest but as they entered it looked more like a magical land which was created with plants.

         Draco led Rosie all the way and they finally came to a place that looked more like a maze made by the plants. All of it was perfectly cut into shapes. "This is called the Pairs' Maze. Each of us will start from different ends and if we successfully meet at the same time in the center, there will be a pot filled with water and rose petals. We have to stick our hands into it together and find a ring that is hidden there. Legends have it that the ring is a natural one and appears only to those who love their partner truly.This maze is to see if the pair going through this maze is really loyal and truthful to each other," Draco explained.

       They both started from opposite ends.It was hard and conplicated but Rosie soon reached the center. Coincidentally, Draco also reached at the same time. They saw the pot which was right in the middle. Their beautiful patterns are embroidered on it. They stuck their hands in it and tried finding the ring.Soon they both got a ring each. Rosie's ring had the letter 'D' craved on it and Draco's had 'R' on it.They looked at each other in confussion as there must be only one ring but they had two.

       Out of the blue, an old man came and congratulated them.He guarded the place and he explained why they had gotten two rings.He told them that the pairs that come here and getting two rings with each others' first letter craved on it at the same time are a rare occasion and that they are the first pair to get these rings after decades. He also added that the bond they share is stronger that they imagine.Rosie and Draco gave each other the rings that had their name on it and exchanged it infront of the old man. Suddenly, both their names formed on the wood nearby. The old man blessed them and told them that the trees surrounding this place are memorial trees and will have each loyal pair's names carved on them but the tree that has Rosie's and Draco's name was a special one. That was the only tree with beautiful colorful flowers on it.

        Draco and Rosie smiled at each other and left, telling goodbye to the old man. At some point,Rosie felt as if someone was running in the woods and watching them but she just brushed off the thought. She held Draco's hand and laid her head on his shoulder as they walked out of the forest. Rosie got into the car with Draco and they were going from place to place the whole day.

      It was 10 p.m. when they reached. Draco lead Rosie to her room and asked her to change into the dress that was lying on her bed. It was a long, sleeveless gown with a thigh-high slit. It was in a beautiful glittery red and blue. There were also a pair of matching heels beside it. Rosie took a shower and wore that dress. She styled her hair in a waterfall braid.

         Rosie came out of her room and saw Draco standing there wearing a tuxedo. He had a bouquet and gave it to her. He led her to the the room which she was dancing earlier that day. It was decorated with lamps, streamers, and beautiful flowers. Soft music started playing in the background and Draco pulled Rosie into a dance. He slid his hand down her hips and squeezed, gently. She breathed in,l**t blooming in her belly. They danced and Draco gently kissed Rosie's neck.

---11:58 p.m.---

     Draco pulled Rosie to the beach. She couldn't understand what was happening.She also hadn't seen Alice the whole time. Suddenly, fireworks started and there were lights slowly lighting up one by one around her. "SURPRISE!!" everyone shouted.All her friends, staffs, favorite family members, and teachers were there to celebrate her birthday.She hadn't thought of having a party.Draco lead her down the aisle and she saw a big two-tier cake in front of her,on the table. Party poppers popped as she cut her cake and gave the first two pieces to Alice and Draco.

       All the guests gave Rosie presents and left. Alice, Draco, Asher and she herself stayed and cleaned the place. After cleaning,Draco came up to Rosie. "I haven't give you anything," he said dragging her far away.He pulled her closer,their bodies only a few inches apart. Andrenaline coursed through her veins.

      Draco looked at Rosie intensely, his eyes searching hers,trying to understand what she was thinking. Rosie can't help bit notice his full lips and beautiful vulnerable eyes. He lifted her eyes to meet his and then smiled. Rosie took off her shoes and walked along the beach with Draco.

    The salty wind blew off the ocean, and Rosie breath in deep. Draco stopped walking and faced her. She smiled coyly at him. He moved closer to her,tucking her hair away from her eyes,behind her ears. His touch was tantalizing. Rosie studied Draco's face and reached her hand to touch his 7-days old beard, feeling the sandpapery grizzle.

       Draco watched Rosie,eyes big and blue filled with desire.His lips brushed hers,just a hint of minty sweetness in his breath.Her eyes drifted closed as her fingertips find their way to Draco's face.Rosie could feel herself falling at that moment. They kissed like there is no tomorrow. They then pulled away and looked at each other.

         They went back home hand in hand. Rosie ran up to her room and Draco followed her. He closed the door behind him and walked towards Rosie. He pressed her to the wall and started kissing her passionately. She opened her mouth and kissed him back. His fingers ran up and down her spine. She grabbed his hair and kissed him intensely.

       Draco carried her to her bed and laid her down. He climbed up on top of her. He traced his fingers along her long legs. He kissed her lips as his hand wrapped around her waist. He kissed her neck and slowly went down her shoulders. "Draco,I think we should stop," Rosie said in between. "I don't think so," he replied. Rosie then rolled him over. "Let's just stop.it here for now,"

         She then went to take a shower and came back. Draco also took a shower. He laid beside her and saw her emerald green eyes staring at him. He traced her face. "Rosie,I love you," "I love you too,Draco," Rosie said kissing him one last time before going to bed. They slept peacefully

         The next morning, Rosie woke up to find herself cuddling Draco. She looked up and saw him sleeping comfortly. He looked adorable. She went to take a bath and put on a formal outfit,getting ready for work, her hair in a casual bun. She kissed Draco's forehead and closed the door before going to work.

        Draco woke up and realized Rosie was not there, beside him. He stood up and went to the shower. As he was looking into the mirror, he saw a cute little sticky note that said,          

"Good morning, Handsome!"

      He smiled to himself and went to the kitchen downstairs. He saw another sticky note on the kitchen counter.

"Breakfast is on the table. I made your favorites. Sorry had to rush to work. I love you, sweetie❣"

      Draco ate the pancakes and went to his workplace.He worked as a cashier as his part-time job till he finished studying. He then went to Rosie's office to bring her out for lunch. He reached there and was told by the receiptionist that Rosie was in an important meeting so he just sat on the couch in her office waiting for her. Soon,she entered while talking on the phone. She had some files with her and was serious on the phone that she didn't realise Draco was there. He hugged her from behind the moment she kept her phone down.

"Stressed?" he asked kissing her on the neck.

"Yup. A new project is coming up so I have to look after it,"

"Like to go out for a break?"

"Yes, please. I seriously need it now," she said facing him.

"You look kinda cute when you're frustrated," he said pressing her on the table.

"Mhmm....,'

"I feel like....right now.....,"

     Before he could finish, Rosie wrapped her hand around his neck and started kissing him. Draco also wrapped his hand around her waist.
