CHAPTER 11:IT'S YOU

1848 Words
It was a fine Saturday morning, Rosie was jogging in the park. Since the day Stan joined work, she was thinking if Draco had also come with him. She did meet Stella during an interview and hired her in her company. What if Draco was there with them? She longed to see him, to hug him and tell him how much she missed him. She was enjoying the view of the park and stretched a little after finishing her run when someone called, "Draco!" She turned to see if it was him but no one was there. "There are many Dracos in the world, Rosie," she told herself.          Rosie had an important meeting that afternoon. She went there early with Alice. She was going here and there, looking at her employees' work. She was a little nervous as this is her first biggest meeting she'd had. As she was walking fast to the meeting room, she bumped into a blonde guy, carrying a file. "I-I'm so sorry. I was in a hurry," she told as he bends down to take the file. She couldn't see his face. Little did she know it was Draco. Her Draco.        Fate has really planned to get them back together. "Rosie!" someone called from far. Before Draco could look up to see her, she apologized and left. He saw the girl leaving, her dark brown curls bumping on her back. "It couldn't have been Rosie.My Rosie! But her voice and scent seem familiar though, No. It wasn't her," he thought to himself. He took the file and left. He gave it to his assistant and left for another important work. His assistant attended the meeting. It went great.      Draco and Rosie went on with their own works without knowing that they were actually pretty close to each other. Stan and Stella hadn't told their brother that they are working with Rosie. Their lives continued, thinking about each other and hoping to be back together soon enough. They always looked at their things they had with them and the night sky which had filled with memories of them together.        Days and weeks flew by, Alice's wedding was coming. Rosie helped her with everything. Alice was happy to have her by her side. Asher and Alice decided to have a Masquerade Ball one week before their wedding. The day came and everyone was present at the ball, wearing beautiful dresses, tuxedos and masks. Even Draco and Rosie were there.        The dance started, everyone enjoyed their dance, talking to each other and mingling. Rosie was just walking towards the terrace to get some alone time. She tripped over someone while walking but the stranger caught her by her waist before she fell to the ground. A strange feeling rushed towards her. That touch, the touch she'd always loved from years ago and that scent of the stranger's cologne. The scent she only knew belong to that one person. Her favourite touch, her favourite scent. No, it couldn't be him. No way.        A girl tripped over Draco and thankfully he caught her before she fell. He looked deep into her eyes and she stared back at him. His heart started beating faster. Her eyes seem familiar, the emerald green eyes he knew very well and those cherry lips of hers, the lips he had missed two years ago. The very eyes and lips he couldn't resist even for a moment and he knew very well belong to only one person in the world. He will know those eyes and lips even if she's wearing a mask or she's far away from him. Could it be her? No, it's impossible.     Rosie stood straight up and reached to open the guy's mask to confirm her doubt, to see if it really was who she thinks he is but someone grabbed her hand and pulled her to dance. She looked towards the stranger and saw him leaving. She pushed away from the guy who had grabbed her hand and pulled her to dance and ran towards the stranger. "Could it be him? Is it you?Draco?" she thought to herself. She followed him but lost him in the crowd.       Draco kept on wondering if it was really Rosie that he saw but even before he could ask, that stupid guy pulled her away. He walked towards the terrace. "Was it you, Rosie? Are you really here?" Thousands of questions flooded in he is head. He stood there and looked at the crowd of people in the hall, his eyes finding the mysterious girl he saw. He found her. She was looking for someone but was soon lost.      As Draco was standing there, on the terrace, alone with his thoughts, a masked girl came up to him and gave him a letter. Before he could say anything, she left. Rosie was standing in the corner of the room finding the masked stranger when someone handed her a note. They disappeared into the night before she could even get a good look at the person's face. Rosie and Draco both read the letters. It had the same content written in it: Meet me at the beach now. I need to talk to you. Please don't ignore this note.                                           XOXO,                            The Masked Stranger       They both went to the beach as soon as they read the letter. Rosie saw the masked man alone in the moonlight, pacing. Draco saw the mysterious girl standing there looking at him. They ran towards each other. They stared at each other before removing their masks and were shocked to see the person in front of them. "It's you. It's really you and you look breathtaking under the moonlight just like before," They thought to themselves.       Unable to control himself, Draco pulled Rosie into his arms and kissed her with an intensity he had never felt before. She kissed him back like he was the only person, the only man in the world for her. "I missed you," he said, pulling away. The moment she heard his voice, a familiar spark ignite in her body. "I missed you more," she replied burying her face in his chest. "I got your letter and came running here," he said. "I didn't give you any letters. You gave it to me," "No, I didn't," "Wait, if it wasn't you or me, then who planned this thing?" "We did," Alice said coming towards them with Asher, Stella and Stan. "You planned all these?" Rosie asked her. "Yup. Remember the day you bumped into a guy before the meeting?" "The blonde guy?" "Yes. I saw him right before the meeting, giving the file to his assistant. I thought he looked familiar and followed him and when I got near enough to see his face, I realised it was Draco. The same Draco Lightwing you'd loved," "Me and Stella joining work with you was also part of the plan," Stan said. "So, we kept it all a secret--" Asher started. "And planned to make you meet like this," Stella continued. "And guess what? I've told dad about this. He is also a member of this plan," Stan said. "We have another surprise from dad," Stella said. "You guys are getting married on the same day as us," Alice and Asher chorused.                They were all really excited to hear the news. Draco and Rosie looked at each other, smiling. Alice noticed that and signalled to the others, saying "I guess we should leave these lovebirds alone," Everyone left and Draco turned to Rosie. He held her waist and pulled her towards him. "So, we're getting married, huh?" he asked her. "Yes," "Excited?" "Of course!" "What is that on your finger?" he asked taking her hand. "It's just---" "You're wearing this ring too?" "Why? Are you wearing it?" "Yes, of course," he said showing her the ring. "I wear it every day, hoping to be back with you," "Me too," "So, we're back together after two years," "Ya, it's unbelievable. Are you single?" "Of course I'm single," He took off her ring and kneeled. "What are you--" "So, Rosie Hearts, will you marry me?" "Of course I will.No matter how many years it takes. You will always be mine," He put the ring on her finger and hugged her. She buried her face on his muscular chest. He whispered in her ear, "This will always be---" "----our sweet little love,"       One whole week flew passed and it was time for the wedding. Alice and Rosie both walked down the aisle, wearing the same type of wedding dress. They walked with their soon-to-be fathers-in-law since they had both lost their fathers. They stood in front of their soon-to-be husbands. They kissed right after telling their vows. It was the best moment for both of them.      All the guests congratulated Rosie, Alice and their husbands. They gave me a lot of gifts. Draco looked at Rosie, "Happy?" he asked. "More than happy," she said giving him a peck on his cheek and his lips. They had both find their family and had all they needed. All the love they had yearned for all these years was now with them.        Some of the guests stayed for dinner. Rosie and Alice prepared them. Everyone enjoyed the meal and complimented the girls. Draco and Asher sent their guests back home with door gifts so, they were outside most of the time. Alice and Asher had planned to move to Alice's house after marriage. They had moved their things there and they will leave to stay there after dinner.      After most of the guests left, Alice went to help Rosie in the kitchen. They were there alone, laughing and chattering when George came into the kitchen. The girls greeted him happily but all the smiles faded away when George handed them a red envelope that had the same devil emoji on it. He smirked. It was the same thing that haunted Rosie. The same letter that separated her and Draco.     The girls looked at George. Fear and shock filled their eyes especially Rosie's. All the colours drained out of her face and she was as pale as a paper. He whispered in a creepy tone, "Got back with him despite my warnings and threatening notes, huh?"
