Eli, Tre, and Alli went back to the office while Ines went to her own suite. She said she had more preparations to finalize for the upcoming ceremony.
“So, Tre, I heard an interesting story about yesterday’s training.” Alli teased him.
Tre’s head slumped forward as Eli started laughing. He had obviously been enduring a lot of talk about his defeat by Miles.
“Yeah, Tre, why don’t you tell Alli all about your training session yesterday?” Eli prodded him.
“Ha. Ha.” Tre said, unamused, while the pair laughed. “You know, it’s our job to train the warriors well. And if they’re able to take us down, that means we’re teaching them well.”
