HER JOB EXPERIENCE

361 Words
I've been job hunting for a while now, and was getting some nice job offers. However, there were some issues with the offers I've been receiving. Either the location was too far or the pay wasn't satisfying. A friend recommended Jiji.ng as a place to find good job opportunities. I began looking for jobs on Jiji. I was getting offers, but many of them were far away. One day, a man reached out to me about a marketing job in Alaba. The offer seemed too good to be real, how will you be paying a whole lot just for me to come and take pictures three times a week and post on your website... Then I'll get extra pay each time there's a customer. That's not even the shocking part, he claimed that he doesn't have a shop, I just go to other people shop at Alaba then snap and post. Omo I told him I wasn't interested because this kind job.... He got angry and sent a very long vn to explain himself, at a point I got convinced, brought my clothes and was preparing to go for the so called job interview. Then again, I decided to call my aunt to inform her before making a move because I wasn't just comfortable. She was skeptical about the job offer, so she told me to do some research. I asked the man for more information about the job, including his name and pictures. He sent a message with a forwarded picture that looked like a stock image. The message also mentioned his main office being in Ikeja and that he was from Kogi State. Long story cut short, I didn't go for any interview, he even messaged the next day asking me to come to one warehouse like that....me that love my life?? I just blocked him. Make i no go find job, find another thing ? I'm still job hunting and more cautious of any offers that seemed too good to be true. It's always best to trust your instincts and take precautions when it comes to job offers. Sometimes, a job offer that seems perfect may be dangerous.
