LOVE ME UNCLE, PLEASE

Chapter 3

JIANCI

"What's wrong, Jianci? Are you alright?" Auntie Yna asked me worriedly when she saw me suddenly stand up.

"I'm okay, Auntie," I replied to her. "Excuse me. I'm just going to the bathroom." I hurriedly left the dining room and went up to my room. I couldn't help but cry because of what I found out. Uncle Lux has a girlfriend. He will only become more distant from me. I have no hope of him loving me.

I wanted to sob and lock myself in my room. I wanted to release the weight in my chest. I quickly wiped away my tears and took a deep breath. I need to control my feelings. I also need to go back to the dining room because they will wonder why it's taking me so long to return to the table.

I applied foundation to my face to cover the tracks of tears and the slight redness of my nose. Then I took a deep breath before deciding to go back to the dining room.

When I opened the door, I was surprised to see Uncle Lux standing in front of my room, seemingly waiting for me to come out.

"U-Uncle Lux. What are you d-doing here?" I stuttered because I didn't expect him to follow me.

"Did you cry just now?" he asked with a serious face while his eyes scanned my face.

I firmly shook my head at him. "No. I didn't cry." I closed the door and was about to leave him when he stopped one of my hands. He pulled me back inside my room.

"I know you cried. And I know why you cried, Jianci. I'm telling you. Stop your wrong thoughts about me. What you want won't happen," he said bluntly to me.

It felt like tiny needles were pricking my chest at what I heard. He made it clear that he doesn't like me. Even though I expected to hear these words from him, I was still hurt.

"But I couldn't control my feelings for you, Uncle Lux. I love you. C-Can't you love me too?" My voice suddenly cracked. I feel sorry for myself because I'm forcing myself on a man who doesn't like me. But what can I do? I love him. And I know that I won't love any other man but him.

"Damn it, Jianci! I am your uncle and you're my niece! This will never change," Uncle Lux said firmly, seemingly running out of patience.

"But we're not blood-related. You're not my real uncle. So it's not forbidden for us to have a relationship," I insisted to him. Two tears that I couldn't stop rolled down my cheeks. Is it hard to love me? What can I do for him to love me too?

I unintentionally looked at his neck. It was a kiss mark or love bite. My lips pressed tightly together because of what I saw. The woman with him gave him that love bite. I felt a mixture of pain and jealousy.

Uncle Lux ruffled his own hair as if he didn't know what to do with me. He held me by both shoulders and faced me towards him.

"Listen to me, Jianci. I have a girlfriend now and I love her. We're already planning to get married. And I won't marry any other woman aside from her. So, stop that nonsense you're feeling, okay?" he said to me with a serious face. He doesn't know that every word that comes out of his mouth is like a sharp blade that cuts through my chest. I just cried silently and didn't speak anymore. If I speak, my voice will surely crack again so I just kept quiet. "Fix yourself, then go back to the dining room."

After Uncle Lux talked to me, he hurriedly left my room as if frightened that someone might see him coming out of my room. It was hard but I forced myself to control my emotions. I retouched my makeup again before finally returning to the dining room.

"Why did it take you so long to come back, Jianci?" Grandpa asked me when I sat down on my chair. He suddenly frowned as if he noticed something. "Did you cry? Why? Do you feel uncomfortable in your body?" he asked worriedly.

I quickly shook my head at Grandpa and smiled slightly so that he wouldn't worry about me anymore. "I'm okay, Grandpa. I just remembered my Mom so I couldn't help but cry for a moment. But I'm okay now. Let's not talk about her anymore because I might just cry again," I quickly explained. I avoided looking at Uncle Lux because I might just cry again.

"Alright. Let's not talk about anything that will make you sad," Auntie Yna said. I secretly thanked her because she believed what I said.

"By the way, Uncle Lux. Where's your birthday gift for Jianci? Don't tell me you forgot to buy her one?" Alexa suddenly asked. Even though I didn't want to look at Uncle Lux, I couldn't help but look at him. Every birthday, he never forgets to give me a gift.

"You're right, Alexa. I forgot to buy a gift for her. I'll just buy her when I have time," Uncle Lux replied in a tone that seemed not to care if he forgot to buy me a gift. The wound in my chest only deepened. Uncle Lux really knows how to hurt me.

Alexa grinned at me.. She was overjoyed because for the first time, I wasn't important to Uncle Lux.

"How could you forget to buy her a birthday gift, Lux?" Grandpa reprimanded Lux angrily.

"It's okay, Grandpa. What's important is that Uncle Lux is here on my birthday. And besides, the gifts I received from you and Auntie are enough," I said to Grandpa so that he wouldn't be angry at Uncle Lux anymore.

"It's okay, Dad. When Jianci has time, we'll go to the mall and I'll buy her everything she wants," Auntie Yna said before secretly giving her son a sharp look.

I smiled at Auntie Yna and didn't comment on what she said. I just focused my attention on eating. My favorite foods were prepared on the table but I couldn't appreciate the taste. I feel like all the food I put in my mouth tastes bitter. As bitter as I feel now.

After we had dinner, I told them that I was going to my room because my head hurt. I secretly thanked Grandpa and Auntie for not asking me any further why my head hurt and just letting me go back to my room.

I just sat on the edge of my bed as soon as I entered my room. I can't accept that Uncle Lux doesn't like me. I can't accept that he has a girlfriend and plans to marry her. I felt like I was having a nightmare.

I sat on the edge of my bed for almost two hours, just thinking, until I came to a decision. I changed my clothes and wore sexy lingerie before leaving my room and secretly heading to Uncle Lux's room. I knew he was in his room because Grandpa told him to sleep there. I had no choice but to do this. This was the only way to have him.

Uncle Lux's door wasn't locked so I quickly got inside. I thought there was no one inside because he wasn't there. But when I heard the sound of water from inside the bathroom, I guessed he was taking a shower.

Even though my chest was pounding loudly with nervousness, I still continued with my plan. I patiently waited for Uncle Lux to come out of the bathroom.

"What the hell are you doing inside my room, Jianci? And why are you wearing like that?" Uncle Lux asked angrily when he came out of the bathroom and saw me standing next to his bed wearing very sexy lingerie. I felt fear at the anger I saw on his face but I couldn't back down anymore. It's now or never.

"Don't you really have any feelings for me, even a little, Uncle Lux? I'm ready to give you everything I have, just love me." As I spoke, I slowly lowered the strap of my lingerie. But before the strap reached my chest, Uncle Lux angrily approached me and pushed me onto his bed.

"Have some self-respect, Jianci! Do you think I'll respect you if you succeed in seducing me? The thing I hate most in a woman is someone like you!" Uncle Lux shouted, breathless with anger. I couldn't speak because of the mixed feelings of humiliation and self-pity. Uncle Lux took some clothes from the drawer before facing me with a dark face. "I want you gone when I come out of the bathroom, Jianci. I don't want to see your face anymore!"

When Uncle Lux entered the bathroom, I ran out of his room and went back to my room. I sobbed loudly with my face buried in the pillow. My heart and my pride were completely shattered.

After crying, a firm decision entered my mind. Uncle Lux doesn't want to see me anymore. He hates me now. It's time for me to let go of my deep feelings for him. It's time to go. I packed my clothes and put them in a suitcase. In the middle of the night and while the people in the White's mansion were sound asleep, I sneaked out of the house with my suitcase. Goodbye Auntie Yna and Grandpa. Goodbye Uncle Lux.
