Roy was pondering over his life at this moment.

It was because he had been reincarnated. To be exact, he remembered his previous life.

Roy, in his previous life, was a straight twenty-year-old college student. He came from an ordinary family, lacked the romance history that he could brag about to others. If one had to list a few things to distinguish him from other people, then he was a stay-at-home type of person; he liked reading novels, binge-watching and playing online games.

He knew what he was supposed to know for his age.

However, a most ordinary person was picked by God to have a most extraordinary experience. And now here he was.

He was Roy Akas now, the only son of the Akas House in St. Mestre Theocracy, one of the three most powerful countries in the continent. He was the heir of this old lineage.

Chapter 1 My Step-sister Flagged My Death
"This is Elisa. She will be your sister from now on, Roy." In the sumptuous lounge, a handsome yet somewhat gaunt middle-aged man was holding a silver-haired girl's hand. He introduced her to the well-dressed, black-haired boy, who was standing face to face with them. The boy looked not tall enough for his age. The man's name was Cartier Akas, a marquess of the St. Mestre Theocracy. Aside from serving as the Chief Magician of the Holy Knight Order, he was the patriarch of the illustrious Akas House too. The boy who was standing there spellbound was his son. Roy Akas, the only son of Cartier, was nine years old now. He had dignified facial features. His black hair seemed to need trimming. He was a little less than five feet high, which was on the shorter end among the well-nourished nobles of this country. His relatively frail physique also proved that he was lack of exercise. Thanks to the education he received, his disposition was steady and quiet, which gave people a fairy good first impression. However, this was a disguising façade. Roy in fact was an infamous little tyrant for the numerous misdeeds he committed. The servants would turn pale when his name was mentioned. At this moment, the little tyrant was fixing his eyes on the girl who would be his sister. His big blue eyes that took after his mother was gleaming with evil light, and his face was ugly. His body was as stiff as the stone sculpture stood on top of the fountain in the garden. "What are you doing, Roy? You scared Elisa!" The man felt embarrassed when he detected that Elisa, who had just curtsied to her new brother, cowered behind him because of Roy's expression. He roared at his son in a low voice. 'Do you have to behave in this way? Elisa is beautiful, but you are the son of a marquess. Where are the manners your etiquette teacher taught you?' Cartier's pale face blushed slightly because of his son's inappropriate behavior. He raised his hand and wanted to slap him on the face, but his dead wife's face popped up in his mind. His hand paused in the air in time. After a short while, he sighed and put his hand down. He cleared his throat and said, "Elisa, Roy is probably tired. I shouldn't have made him spend so much time practicing magic today."  As Cartier tried to diffuse the intense situation, he quietly gestured to the maid who was waiting aside. The sensible maid came over immediately to lead Roy to his room to rest. From behind Roy's back sounded the strained voice of the girl. "It's all right, Father." Roy was pondering over his life at this moment. It was because he had been reincarnated. To be exact, he remembered his previous life. Roy, in his previous life, was a straight twenty-year-old college student. He came from an ordinary family and lacked the romance history to brag about to others. If one had to list a few things to distinguish him from other people, then he was a stay-at-home type of person; he liked reading novels, binge-watching, and playing online games. He knew what he was supposed to know for his age. However, a most ordinary person was picked by God to have a most extraordinary experience. And now, here he was. He was Roy Akas now, the only son of the Akas House in St. Mestre Theocracy, one of the three most powerful countries in the continent. He was the heir of this old lineage. If he knew nothing about this world, Roy probably would be very pleased to enjoy this high-end version of his family background. He could spend money like water. He could do whatever he felt like to do. Unfortunately, he knew something. "Heathcliff House…Yes!" "Zoroastro House…Yes!" "If Lucas Achman also exists in this world…Yes!" The heavy book dropped to the floor with a thud. That sounded the death knell for all Roy's hopes.  "I am done for…Ha-ha! I am done for!" Inside the study, the bog grabbed his hair and pulled upward as if he wanted to lift himself up into the air. All blood in his body rushed to his head and he panted, felt dizzy as if he was going through a stroke. 'Did I act like a stick of butter jumped into a heated pan—tried to kill myself?' After checking a lot of information of St. Mestre Theocracy, Roy was sure that he had traveled to the world of a gal game he once played. He remembered the name of the game was called Eyes of the Chronicler. As a gal game, it was atypical, which involved a lot of historical stories and the graphics of the game were exquisite. There were a lot of role options that the players could choose to play. However, it was… not popular. There were multiple reasons why it was not popular, but two took most of the responsibilities. One was that it was G-rated. The other one was that its plots were always sketchy. The mechanics of the game was bizarre, proceeding in the unit of the year. It would be alright if that was all, but the storylines were always disconnected. Without any reason, a war would break out. Some roles would die unexpectedly. Even the main female characters couldn't escape that kind of fate. Roy's evaluation of the game was outlandish. Probably the scriptwriter was mimicking a history chronicler who had limited information. He just wrote down what he knew and left the blank for the players to fill by themselves. The reason why Roy could continue playing the crappy game was mainly that the villain he played shared a name with him and was a handsome man. This made it easier for him to immerse in the game and gave him a lot of satisfaction. What was more, the female characters were stunning! That was also why he recognized that girl at first glance just now. Elisa Akas, Child of Silver Moon, the processor of top-rated Silver Bloodline, and the silver moonof St. Mestre Theocracy. Her beauty was comparable to a piece of crystal ice formed only once in a century on top of Mount Laila where no life had ever set foot on, or to the edge of Sword of Pande that shone with cold light. Her body had the harmony that only God could create. Her pure green eyes seemed to brim with all emotions that humans could have. She was cold, aloof, proud, but her heart was soft and fragile. Of course, this was an image of her in the future, when she grew up to be a capture target of the players. Currently, she was only a seven-year-old little girl. Roy was a nine-year-old grown-up. As people often say, age was not a problem. The two-year gap wouldn't be an obstacle for Roy to bond with the girl. If he knew nothing, probably he would just rush up to develop a friendship with this little angel whose wings had not yet fully grown. Unfortunately, he knew something. So he flinched. In fact, he stared at Elisa with a grimace not because he intended to scare her but because he was stupefied by his memory. The frail-looking girl that his father was trying to protect, Elisa Akas, would kill Roy Akas with her own hands.
