After Lucy has insisted on hearing the reason Ruth decided to leave Adam's house, Ruth decides it is better to tell her now than later. It is up to her what she makes of the information.
"Lucy, the only reason I will tell you why I left that place is because I trust you. I trust the strength of our friendship, and I don't want you feeling like I hide things from you later on."
Lucy nods.
"Go on. I won't be mad at you," Lucy smiles bitterly, already sensing that she won't like whatever will be said.
"Okay. Adam has feelings for me. I have already sensed what he felt about me, but was always scared of the day he would lose control over his feelings. I had to leave when he grabbed and kissed me forcefully."
Lucy shuts her eyes and takes a deep breath.
"I hope you don't get mad at me,"
