The end of the year sees Ruth graduating with flying colors, and, like she was promised, she manages to land a job as a junior stylist at a decent salon in Air Itam. She is told she will start with simpler tasks such as giving manicures, welcoming customers, ensuring that the salon is neat and tidy, make appointments, shampoo and condition hair and take care of easier hair cuts and styling jobs. Later, when she has gained some experience, she will move on to cutting, treating and coloring, and her pay will also be increased.
She hasn't spent all the money Adam had given her by the time she starts getting her own salary. There will always be extra income now and Ruth spends on herself and Arianna, buying them fancy clothes and shoes, restocking the pantry every week.
