My name is Gavin Wright and I am the Alpha of Blue Moon Pack. And this woman is my mate and future Luna to my pack. I meant no harm toward them but I did not attack her friend. My cousin did because they were on his land and thought they were rogues until I was close enough to notice she is my mate. My wolf took over and all I wanted to do was meet her but they were fast. And here we are.

My uncle listened while glancing at me to see my reaction and smiled when Gavin said I was fast. He has taught me well enough to dodge attacks although Valarie is as quick as me, it did not help that she had to carry me in the process of our escape. After the explanation, I ran to check on Valarie who was now healed and excited that I found my second chance mate. I, on the other hand was very skeptical about the situation. I was scared and nervous and memories of the rejection came back so quickly that I started to get lightheaded. A few miles from out from our border we heard a howl.

Gavin turned confused and said I have to go that is my cousin and he sounds hurt. My heart felt like it had a hole, I held my chest for a moment and Gavin rushed beside me but I pushed him away. The hurt in his eyes says it all. “Gavin, I am curious but what is your cousin’s name?”  My uncle asked. His name is Lex also known as Alexander Mason.  Gavin said. My uncle growled and I just stood there thinking, why the hell the moon goddess hates me for pairing me with my first mates cousin as a second chance mate. This is going to be go bad I just know it.

We have rogues on our land Gavin but make sure to be careful they are female so their mates might be nearby. My cousin loves the chase so he shifted into his wolf Koa and took off. I was about to shift when I saw her from the hill between the trees. It was my ex mate beautiful as ever I shifted and watch her hop on the other wolf and they took off running back to their borders. I had to talk to her my wolf was miserable, we were miserable since the rejection and I knew I made a mistake. I just hope she hasn’t found her second chance mate that would mean I had a chance to get her back. During the run I couldn’t get them to stop so I bite the wolf she was on. They tumble down but she shifted into her beautiful wolf and kept going. What I noticed is that Gavin growled at me when I did that. I had no idea why so I brushed it off in hopes I get to speak to her. Gavin mind links me. saying don’t hurt them, one of them is my mate. The scent is strong as I got closer. We were so close but I had to stop since my dad told me not to go near their borders because her Alpha uncle would kill me on the spot. Gavin kept going so I just stood there at the top of the hill as he jumps into their land. To my surprise, my ex mate shifted in human form and gets pounced by Koa. I thought he was mad that she tossed her friend that I was sure was his mate to the warriors who protected her but he wasn’t mad. He opened his mouth and licked her. Koa looked like a happy dog seeing his owner for the first time. Gavin, my cousin who I am so close too is my ex mate’s second chance at love. s**t. The worst part is that he didn’t know I found and rejected my mate. Karma really is something. I was furious, I was angry but then I was hurt at the same time and during my vulnerable moment I howled in sadness.
