CHAPTER 5

660 Words
Tristan’s Point of View Lara is researching about the girls. She is asking too many questions that I don't want to answer. To keep her mouth shut, I used s*x para mabaling sa ibang direction ang isip niya. Trisha didn't ask me about Lara. Usually, when she didn't like a particular girl that I am involved with, she always tells me. “Honey, kailan tayo babalik sa Country Club?” Lara asked me for the fourth time this week. Gusto niya raw makita ang mga new friends niya. “I want to hang out with Lise. Have you seen her ring? It's so big,” Lara continued. I wonder why she is obsessed with Lise's ring. She knew our score. “And the pregnant. what is her name again?” Lara asked. “Marie.” “Yeah. Her ring is so gorgeous. Her husband must be rich,” she continued. I pretended to read the yahoo news. “Hon. You are not listening. Who is Marie's husband?” ang kulit niya. “Red,” I replied drily. “OMG! The owner of Country Club!”  she squealed. “They are my friendship goals,” she continued her daydreaming. I knew those girls. They are loyal to their friends. And if you touch one of them they can be your worst enemy. And clearly, Lara doesn’t like D. And Diane is part of that solid group. “How come Diane knew them?” she asked. I didn't answer. It annoys me that my privacy and time for myself has been confiscated because Lara were moving her things to my house here in Makati, one by one. As if I didn't notice it. She said it is just in case she needs extra clothes if she sleeps here. But she is practically moving in. She cleared a part of my closet and move her not so few things. Her toiletries are in my bathroom now. My shoe cabinet is full of her shoes. And I don't know how to remove those to fix my things back to normal. “My mom called me, hon. She wants to meet you. How about we go to Negros, so you can see our Hacienda?” “I'll think about it.” “Hi, ladies. Kulang yata kayo ngayon?” I asked as I made my way to my sister's friends. Nakaupo sila sa labas ng starbucks sa downtown. Wala si Marie at Diane. “Nasa Manila na si Marie, preparing for her delivery,” Lise replied. “D went home to Negros,” Cheska informed me. “Trish. Sinong hinahanap mo?” I asked Trisha when she didn't stop looking around. “Iyong leech na tinatawag mong girlfriend.” It is obvious that my sister didn't like majority of my playmates. “Hindi ko kasama.” “Buti naman.” “She is not so bad,” Pagtatanggol ko. “In bed you mean,” prangkang sagot ni Sam. “Tristan, just take care okay. She is a gold digger, I swear,” Trisha commented. “Grabe ka, Trish. Mayro’n silang hacienda. In fact, pupunta kami doon this week,” pagmamalaki ko. Let say nakikitira lang sila doon,” Kaye said. “Yup. And since papunta ka do’n, kapag nakita mo si Diane pakisabi tumawag sa amin ha,” sabi ni Cheska. “Is there something that I need to know before I go to Negros? Because clearly, you were implying that Lara is lying to me,” naiiritang tanong ko. I hate dissecting girls’ riddles. Why can't they say something straight? “You'll see, brother. Keep your guards up,” Trisha replied. See? Why can't they just f*****g tell me?
