Furiously typing keyboard sound, droopy eyes, half-drunk coffee, pounding head, and another day of me being a stereotypical office worker. My eyes were this close to a complete shut down.
However, all the sleepiness was taken away when a levitating Kim Seokjin was reflected on my computer screen. He began changing his expression into absurd ones, which caused me to roll my eyes again. Those expressions were snort worthy yet if I did it, people in other cubicles would think I was crazy for laughing while working. They're probably in the same state as me right now; tired and sleepy.
'What on earth are you doing? Did I not tell you to stop following me to work place?' I typed on my keyboard and let him read the message. People would be weirded out if they see me talking to myself, right?
Not following me to work place was something that I've warned him for a couple of times, just to get rejections in every attempt. He insisted to go with me because he said he was curious about my life. Although I was not sure what would be interesting for him to see; my life was plain and dull anyway. Every day was only a repetition of the same activities, doing the same things over and over.
"Why? It's fun to be here rather than being alone at home. Besides, I get to see other sides of you. I must say ― you look like an intellectual when doing your works!" Jin, for the first time in forever, gave me a good compliment.
I think today the blue moon would finally show up.
Shrugging it off, I continued doing my work. But of course, being the mighty annoying Kim Seokjin, he kindly provided me with interruptions like playing with my hair and lift it up and down, as if he was riding a horse. Then he would laugh to himself, not letting me live even for a while.
'Stop it! What if someone sees my flying hair?' I typed again and he finally released the grip, pouting.
I glared at him as I combed through the knots that Jin created, trying to get back the presentable state.
"Mirae-ssi, how's the report going? Have you finished it?" A voice suddenly called, the source was from the right wall of my cubicle ― mine was located at the right end of the row, that's why there's no other cubicle on my right. Only wall.
I faced my right side just to see my senior's face, Park Jimin, popped above the separation wall. He gave me his signature eye smile which had sent me to venture the skies above. He's cute.
"Jimin-ssi," I stuttered. "I'm half-way done with it, I'm so sorry for the late," I apologized, standing up from my seat and bowed.
"Oh please, don't be!" He waved his hands in front of his chest. "And please just call me Jimin. Anyways, what happened to your hair? Are your works really stressful these days?" He asked and I shyly grabbed my hair, mentally cursing Jin for creating this mess. I'll make sure to deal with that ghost later.
"N ― no it's nothing," I answered.
Jimin nodded his head and smiled. "Alright. Good luck," he said before leaving.
I smiled seeing his figure slowly vanishing in my sight.
"Oh~ Park Jimin, isn't it?" And that teasing question crashed my dreamy moments just in a matter of seconds. "What a great content I got to witness, totally signed up for this," he added while smirking mockingly.
I huffed and rolled my eyes before exiting the room, decided to take a small trip to the restroom.
For real, Kim Seokjin, please just let me breathe already.
