Dani didn't try to stop Charlie. The fire had been burning for so long that anyone inside would have died. She wanted to see the bodies of Blake and Lola as well, or she wouldn’t rest assured.
The fire gradually went out, revealing the car which had been burned down to the frame. Charlie and Dani rush over immediately and checked the driver's seat and the passenger seat, but they didn't see any bones.
