Seeing Lola become listless, Blake put his arms around her shoulder and asked, "Why are you so discouraged all of a sudden?"

"You’re blaming yourself again!" Blake sighed, having an urge to pinch her face. "I guess those people were Charlie’s men. We’ve been fighting recently. Maybe it was because I was pushing him too hard that he was so eager to get rid of me."
"Huh?" Lola was stunned. "I thought Dani was behind all this. She learned I had brought the Bowens down and was worried that I would deal with her next, so she took action first."
