Chapter 7: New Love story

As Jennifer and Dera left for the computer lab, I hurriedly finished the project I was handling and rushed to the lab

As I was approaching the computer lab I began to hear voices arguing, possibly Dera and Jennifer.

I opened the door just to hear Dera confess that she loves me.

"What the fuck..." I exclaimed

Obviously Jennifer and Dera were surprised.

Perhaps they didn't hear me coming

Dera stormed out of the lab while wiping some tears that were forming up.

I wanted to chase after her but I didn't.

I didn't know if it was quite the best option at that moment

I looked at Jennifer and she was sad on her own part too and she left too

"I guess there's no lesson today" I mumbled as I went back to class

Throughout the day in school Dera never spoke a word to anyone talk more of me or Jennifer

Jennifer too was unusually quiet and calm.

They kept acting weird throughout the day that Jeremy even noticed.

I promised him I would chat him up when we got home.

Jeremy and I went straight to the garage immediately school was over.

He commended on my bike as he boarded his G-wagon and drove off while I was still struggling with my helmet.

I finally put it on and zoomed off too.

When I got home, my uncle Hosea wasn't back yet.

I just grabbed a quick sandwich lunch and went upstairs to my room.

I got my phone and logged in on w******p expecting to see a message from Dera or Jennifer but I didn't get any.

I tried calling Dera's mobile but it was switched off.

I went back to my w******p to reply some messages before I got a text from Jeremy "FAM TOMORROW'S WEEKEND, ARE U FREE?"

I went straight to my to-do list before I replied him back

"YEA , Y?"

"CAN YOU ESCORT ME, TO SHOP FOR THE TRIP ON MONDAY ^_^ ? "

"OH s**t! I EVEN FORGOT ABOUT THE TRIP‍"

"SERIOUSLY ? WHAT WHERE YOU THINKING?"

"OH THAT REMINDS ME, U GUYS WHERE KINDA ACTING FUNNY,.. WHAT HAPPENED?"

" IT'S A VERY LONG STORY BUT THE THING IS THAT I FOUND OUT THAT DERA HAS A CRUSH ON ME TOO"

"HOW DID U FIND OUT"

"I CAUGHT HER ARGUING WITH JENNIFER ABOUT IT. AND RIGHT NOW, I DON'T KNOW HOW SHE FEELS"

"s**t‍ THAT'S QUITE MESSED UP. WELL SEE YOU TOMORROW AND TEXT ME YOUR ADDRESS SO I CAN PICK U UP."

I sent Jeremy my house address and then called my uncle Hosea to know if he would still come back today.

I also informed him that I needed urgent cash for shopping and he agreed to send me money.

I began to Clean up the house so I wouldn't have to do anything the next day.

Before I went bed I received an alert of 70k and a text from Hosea asking me to spend the money wisely.

I was sleeping peacefully before I started hearing car horn hooting.

Just then I remembered my appointment and sprang up from the bed.

I checked my time it was 11:05 am

I peeped from my window just to find Jeremy in his car glancing impatiently at his watch

"f**k!!!" I screamed.

I hurried down stairs in my pyjamas and opened the door for Jeremy and he came out from his car laughing at me cuz I was messed up.

He was wearing a Playboy t-shirt and a Versace skin tight jeans and a pair of supreme sneakers.

I went straight to the kitchen and made him some snacks and served him and hurried to the bathroom to have my bath.

After bathing I put on a white polo, a blue jean and a matching jean jacket.

I picked one of my Jordan sneakers and put it on.

I grabbed my key and phone and ran downstairs.

Jeremy was done eating, so I cleared his dishes and we left.

Jeremy's car was quite comfortable.

He was playing a Kendrick Lamar's song Black Panther.

We began to discuss about random and personal stuffs till we got to the mall.

During our discussion

I found that Jeremy had two siblings, an older brother who was furthering his education in Germany and a very cute younger sister in ss1 who was studying in another school

His dad was a share holder in shell oil company and in Access bank too.

Aside from that his dad had a car assembly plant in South Africa.

"No wonder they are rich" I thought in my mind

At the mall we shopped for toiletries and then smart underwears before we went to the clothes proper.

I guess Jeremy is a huge fan of Versace as his outwears were more of it.

As for me I just bought a some good looking clothes not minding the designer

We went to the shoe area and I bought an extra pair of Jordans in addition to the collection I had at home.

Jeremy bought 3 pairs of a Prada shoe sold at ₦30k and gave me one.

I was very happy and thanked.

At the Time we approached the colonge area, I was just left with ₦35k.

He bought two ₦500k colognes and gave me one too.

At this point I was flabbergasted.

We went to the jewelry section where I spotted someone very familiar

"Could that be Dera?" I thought aloud.

She saw me and waved at me. she gestured me to come .

I excused myself from Jeremy and went to her

She was wearing a Playboy polo and knicker which was kinda short and a slightly bogus Øff-White® jean jacket

I must confess Dera was very very beautiful

"Hi " I said shyly as I approached her

" Hey, look I'm sorry for yesterday (she Said while smiling and her eyes began to glitter Making her more cute and beautiful)

I didn't plan to confess my feelings to u in that manner"

"No I should apologise. I should have confessed my feelings to u first but I was too shy and I didn't say anything"

"Well you have to make it up to me (she said looking at me straight in the eye while I was busy staring at her pink succulent lips and her orange colored hair.)

"Ho...h.. how?" I fidgeted

"Take me on a date in Florida"

"Okay that would be nice"

We began to look at each other, we were now lost in our own.

Soon we began to bring our face closer

We were almost about to kiss before Jeremy interupted while trying to asking me which necklace he should buy.
