Chapter 6: Confessions

It was now almost a week since I started attending BRIGHT FUTURE SCHOOLS.
And the most difficult task was handling Dera and Jennifer's tuition.
Obviously Jennifer isn't really interested in the tuition, she just wants to flirt with me and I on my part have to try as much as possible to let Dera know that I'm a good guy and I'm SINGLE as she is.
I went to school with a cab cuz my uncle Hosea has not been home lately and has not gotten the bike he promised.
When I came Jeremy and Jennifer were already in school.
It didn't take time before Dera came.
The four of us were now getting a little bit close to being good friends.
Our home room teacher was now back from God knows wherever he went .
After the early morning break he came to address
"Good morning students"
"Good morning sir" few students replied while the rest were busy with their phone
"There's a special announcement. We'll be going on a school trip next week and the best part is that it's just ss3" there was jubilation in the class
"Where to sir?" A boy asked
"We are going to Florida " we were all jubilating and rejoicing.
Through out the day what everyone was discussing was about the school trip to Florida
When school was over I was working on something in the computer lab, so when I was through Everyone had gone home.
I walked to a distance where I would board a cab home.
I was just waiting for a cab before someone tapped me on my shoulder and I turned to find it was Jennifer
"Hey handsome what are you doing in school at this time?"
"Nothing, I was doing something in the computer lab that's y I'm still here at this time."
"Oh ok"
"Wait Jennifer how come you are still in school?"
"Well I take extra tutorials on chemistry"
"Oh I see"
"Yes but y are u standing here?"
"Oh me? I'm waiting for a cab"
"A cab? What for? Don't you have a car?"
"No but my uncle promised to get me a bike soon"
"Ok. Well since I'm here y Don't I give you a ride home" she said as she pointed at her driver who was in a black rolls Royce phantom.
"No thanks, the cab will do"
"C'mon handsome. I insist?"
After much arguments I finally agreed to follow her.
We both entered at the back while her driver drove the car.
We kept discussing about our personal lives and gisting and laughing till we got tired.
After a while Jennifer drew my face closer and we began to kiss passionately, I was about to rub my hands round her head before I caught myself and broke the kiss
"Why? Didn't you enjoy the kiss or you don't like me? Jennifer said emotionally
"No I kinda enjoyed it. I like u. I really like u but...but"
"But what?"
"I have a crush on someone else"
"It's Dera right? Don't lie to me"
"Yes"
"I knew it. I knew that rotten c*nt b**ch was f**king flirting with u so u would like her and now you have fallen for her."
"Please Jennifer calm down"
"I'm already calm but I won't let anyone take u away from me. Not even Dera"
Throughout the ride home, we didn't say a word to each other again.
When we got to my place Jennifer requested for a bottle of water, so I invited her inside.
When we entered, Hosea was already at home and was watching movie.
I collected a chilled bottle water from the fridge and gave to Jennifer.
I introduced my uncle to Jennifer and Jennifer to my uncle.
Hosea thanked her continuously for giving me a lift home.
"Um.. sir Buchi said u were going to get him a bike"
"Yes dear. I'm just saving up for it."
" Ok. I just wanted you to tell u to forget about it and let me buy it for him"
"No Jennifer u don't need to " I interfered
"Yes dear I have everything under control"
"Sir I would be very unhappy if u don't let me do this".
My uncle kept mute for a while, before he finally agreed.
She greeted my uncle goodbye and I went to see her off.
"Seriously Jennifer u don't need to buy the bike for me"
"Handsome, I love u and I will do everything in my power to make u comfortable"
She kissed me on the lips and entered her car and they zoomed off.
I went back inside and began to discuss the issue with my uncle
"Buchi is that your girlfriend?"
"No . Just my classmate"
"Wow she's nice"
"Hosea we're going on a school trip to Florida next week"
"Hmm ok"
I went to my room and began to work on my blog till I fell Asleep.

When I got to school the next day, the first thing I did was to gist Jeremy concerning the latest update.
We were discussing till I got a text sms till I got a text from Jennifer asking me to meet her at the school garage.
I excused myself and went.
When I approached her, she gave me a light kiss on the lips and handed me a key to a brand new black shiny power bike.
I couldn't stop thanking her and imagining how lucky I was
When she left, I took pictures of the bike and rushed upstairs to gist Jeremy about the latest update.
He inturn was happy for me.
After the first lesson that morning we had a free period
Dera and Jennifer called me for the tuition
I was kinda busy so I excused myself and told her I would join them later, and they went to the computer lab to practice on their own.
**AT THE LAB**
"Buchi is taking long" Dera said as she glanced at her watch
"Y are you flirting with Buchi" Jennifer demanded angrily from Dera
"Watch your tongue Jennifer."
"No u watch ur tongue b***h! After stealing Henry from me. Now cuz u have seen how much I love Buchi u want to steal him from me too?"
"Look Jennifer I didn't steal anyone from u. It was Henry who came to me not me. And whatever you are saying is not the reason why we broke up. Besides Buchi doesn't like u back."
"Yes cuz u r flirting with him and now he has a crush on you and not me. And u like him u w***e!! You like him?" Jennifer screamed at Dera
"Yes! Yes! I like Buchi" Dera shouted back at Jennifer
"What the fuck." I said as I entered the lab
