Mum, what do you think about Damon and this sudden change of mind? I'm dying inside of me.”
Danciana muttered as she could be seen sitting next to her in a car. She muttered her words in a way that hearers would know that she's been nursing grievances in her. The woman grabbed her by the shoulder and drew her closer to herself. Danciana wasted no time before she leaned her head on her mother's side.
“My daughter, nothing changed. And nothing will change. He's yours. You know, whenever they think they've grown wings, they behave as they want. But for some reason, his family won't allow him to stick to that plan. I even see it as though he is joking. I have my part to play.” Danciana's mother replied while trying to put on a cheerful face to make her daughter feel better.
“Mum, you think so?” Danciana queried while sounding better.
“Worry not yourself, my Princess. Things will be fine. Let's focus on the business of today. Remember, we are going to the supermarket for our shopping. You can make your face look better…”
Her mother muttered while tickling her.
Reflexively, she let out a deep breath of relief as she chuckled and stylishly shifted away from her mother.
The driver and a person seated on the conductor's side gave the conversation between mother and daughter deaf ears as the added to the volume of his car radio and was stylishly dancing to the beats. The man sitting at the conductor's side was well-dressed in a suit, but the gun he was carrying came into view as he adjusted it to make himself comfortable in the car.
“Occasionally, you used to behave like a kid. You're no more a kid Danciana”
Her mum whispered to her in a lovely tone.
“I don't understand. What do you mean, mummy?" Danciana whispered while displaying a confused mood.
“Yeah, even if I'm no more, you can handle this kinda case. But you are here acting childishly. You need to cheer up. I hope this is not how you are going to behave in my absence?”
Danciana's mother replied while attempting to sound serious with her words.
“Mum, you have to imagine how it feels to be loved in one moment and be hated the next…”
“That's true, but you have to be yourself. Things tired to your union with him won't permit his family to dance to any tone he may use.”
Her mother interrupted her in full assurance.
“Here we are. We just arrived.”
The dispersed whispered as he halted the car in a parking slot just before a supermarket. The man who was sitting at the conductor's side first came down and opened the car door for Danciana and her mother. Both of them came down carrying their purses. It was then that Danciana's high heel came into view. She wore plain black trousers and a long sleeve shirt which she stocked in and appeared more like an office worker. She complimented her beauty with her shoes that had high heels and embellished herself with nice makeup that made her face appear like a sweet sixteen. They then walked majestically as the man in a suit accompanied them into the supermarket.

Damon could be seen as he was sitting in his office, focusing all his attention on the laptop. He moved his cursor rapidly so that just a glance at him would reveal that he must be searching for something important to him. As he checked the first, second, and third rows, he paused for a few seconds and called his secretary. While she was yet to arrive in the office, he continued searching the cupboard according to rows. As she entered the office trembling, he ordered her to book a flight for him and two of his workers. That they have to. I'm back on a business journey in which they're supposed to spend a week.
“Sir, which day do you want to travel?
“Now!”
Damon replied angrily, though not hastily, as he used to address his workers.
“And, I'm looking for a contract document. The one I brought home from my last journey.”
He questioned her in a good manner while focussing on her face for a response.
“Sir, you asked me to give it to your attorney for proper documentation. And it's still with him”.
She responded while demonstrating her response with her hands.
“Then, don't book the flight yet until I collect the contract from the attorney. You can now go!”
He ordered the Secretary authoritatively. She also wasted no time before exiting the office. She already passed the door before replying, “Thank you, sir.”

While alone in her room, Amelia already accepted her fate and gradually adapted to her environment. She was in the bathroom, washing some of her clothes and spreading them on everything she could see. She heard a chuckling sound from the door, indicating that someone was unlocking the door.
'My actions won't matter. The person must do what brought him or her into this room.'
Amelia muttered to herself and continued doing her laundry.
She continued to hear footsteps as the soul of the person's shoes continued hitting the ground with every step the person made.
“Where's she?”
Amelia got startled, noticing that Damon was the one as he muttered his words in the room. She got up while her hands were covered with foam.
“Amelia!”
Damon muttered once more and proceeded to the bathroom. It was as he was getting closer to the bathroom that Amelia got out of the bathroom.
It took Damon a few seconds to utter a word to her since he continued to observe her beauty and the way she was dressed. Damon could be seen as he was glancing at Amelia stylishly from head to toe.
Amelia was just tying a towel, which she supported with her arm as came out of the bathroom. It seemed as if she noticed the way Damon was glancing at her. She spared him no respect as she walked back into the bathroom to continue what she was doing. Damon cared not whether he was respected or not. He moved a step to meet with Amelia, but it seemed he was swimming against the ocean current.
