Jia Lin Returns

It was the time of the ancient Era and the former land of Sara was now a thing of the past. There, the former general of the Green Field Empire Mich Son came across a world-shaking, godly weapon. This weapon of the former general was beyond tyrannical and his body even though was strong and firm was only so when it came to wielding its powers.

During the battle for lands between the Sky and the Green Field Empire, this sword had helped out Mich Son a lot but what was shocking was that the normal-looking sword held a sword spirit that was beyond the general comprehensive abilities. Inside the sword could be found a space that was as large as a small world, which was completely white.

All these and more memories rushed into Jia Lin's mind as he and little Demon slowly walked back to Muo city. "What a pity that the sword isn't in time with us. Maybe I could try to find it and see who it really belonged to" murmured Jia Lin. "Is that human, Mich Son still alive. Pulse that next Human Grayson, I wonder what happened to him" asked little Demon as it too shared it's master's memories. "His soul is apart of me now, you could say that he is, me and I, him" replied Jia Lin "and as for Odain, I have no idea"

As Jia Lin and little Demon walked and conversed among themselves regarding the matters of Mich Son and his memories that were flooding his mind, Jia Lin and little Demon drew nearer to the city with each step that they made. As they approached the city's gates, two guards walked out to intercept them "Hold it. State you're business inside the city" shouted one of the guards to Jia Lin. As this played out, the guards suddenly looked at the wolf that was walking with this youth as if it was a loyal pet, they walked shoulder to shoulder at a steady pace

Seeing this left the guards somewhat shock but they were martial cultivators who had been practicing cultivation for a very long time now so their ability to control their emotions was very exceptional. As the guards continued to look at the wolf, their hearts began to beat even faster with each passing second because to their shock and amazement, they could sense a brutal form of energy coming from the wolf and its aura was also thick and strong.

"This wolf, it's aura is so strange"

"And it's even walking with this boy"

"The Mystic forest huh"

Various thoughts ran through the minds of the guards that were walking the city's walls. As time passed by more and more guards came to sense the brutal force that was coming off of the Wolf, sensing this kind of brutality, numerous guard men came to a stop on the high wall and looked down. If they were far away and sensed the aura, then they would stop to look in its direction.

"I know you"

Said one of the guards as he came a little closer to Jia Lin, but as soon as he did, he froze in place, his eyes wide open with shock and bewilderment instantly filled him. His hands were shocking and his face showed all signs of losing its former color. Cold sweat dripped down his forehead as he unconsciously took a step back, seeing this happening left some of the guards who were still on top of the high wall shocked, they didn't know why their follow guardsman was acting in such a weird fashion.

After giving Jia Lin and little Demon a deep and profound look, only one thought came to mind 'Monsters'. After thinking this, he then waved his hand, signaling for the guards to let them through. "Young friend of the Fen clan young master, you may pass," said the guard as he made way for Jia Lin and little Demon to pass. "Many thanks, senior brother," said Jia Lin as he made his way past the guards and into the city, the guard who gave him way then shook his head after and said "My Muo city will be having some troubling days to come, this boy just a few months ago he was... "

The guard shook his head as he watched the young boy and his wolf walked into the city. It wasn't a strange occurrence to see someone walking with a wolf or even a white furious bear, it could be known that many masters of the martial world would sometimes travel with a battle companion or their pet and to have a furious beast walk alongside you had long since been normal within Muo city.

Though it was extremely hard to tame a furious beast if it was caught as an adult beast but some powerful cultivators had strong methods of doing so. Having a companion that was a furious beast can greatly increase a martial practitioner's battle powers by a whole lot, it might not be martial powers but the aid of a strong furious beast in battle can sometimes turn the tables around for a practitioner. Some of these beasts were strong and some weren't, their levels of strength only depended on if the beast had been born with a high enough talent which would enable it to cultivate.

Some of these beasts although they still possessed the name furious beasts are sometimes considered as the normal beast within the forest. This was due to the fact that even though they had the title of furious, their level of cultivation comprehension was too low and they could not even break through to the first level of the Saint Realm. These types of furious beasts were the lowest of the low when it came to furious beasts and was most times used as meat for the lowly people, they would also use these kinds of beasts as training beasts.

It was the norm to all, that to practice cultivation one had to have large amounts of resources and martial manuals. These resources alone could make a small clan go broke much less martial manuals, that was why the majority of the younger generation would enroll themselves into a Sect, which would then provide then with the resources that they needed. But not everyone was born with a great insight to practice cultivation and it was even less for some to have the qualifications to enter into a great sect such as some of the poor families or even those of normal background.

When you put all these factors into account, one would then see the use in a normal furious beat as a means to practice. Though their body's strength and speed weren't anything in the eyes of the furious beasts who could cultivate, they were something to the common people because even though they were weak, they could still kill a grown man with ease. The common people would hunt these types of beasts for food and also gain experience inside the forests

"Brother, what bothers you so"

Asked a fellow guardsman as he came up to the guard that let Jia Lin and little Demon through. "This boy, he's a monster" replied the guard as he shook his head and walked back to his post. Even though the guard who had said that was on the ground, the guards who were on top of the high city wall could hear him as if it was a thunderclap in the middle of the day. "why say this" questioned another with a blank expression, it could be seen that this guard was a little disappointed in his fellow man for showing such weakness in front of a junior.

"Two, three months ago this junior came into the city from the Mystic forest with the young Lord of the Fen clan, at that time I had paid no attention to him. It was also the same night that this junior left the city and city's walls and returned back into the Mystic forest" stated the guard so that each and every one of his fellow guardsmen could hear him. "So what, we have worked for years on the walls, seeing someone do these kinds of things is normal. I say, junior brother, you really lost face for us" sneered a guard as he looked down from the high walls.

"Haha, brother Tui the good part hasn't even come yet" chucked the guard who was talking about Jia Lin. "Each and everyone one of us here knows about the strange things that happen inside that forest right", "yes we all do" replied some of the guards. "well then, this young junior had stayed inside the Mystic forest for three whole months without leaving, this our most powerful practitioners could not achieve but he did" after saying up to there, some of the guards who were now looking down on the guard who had taken a step back, suddenly started to show signs of shock, some even showed fear to this type of situation.
