The Unexpected Mate

My name is Cameron Black. I am the future Alpha of the Red Moon pack. I am hoping to find my Luna before I become Alpha. My sister, Aubrey, has already found her mate, and has become the Luna of the Silver Moon pack, as her mate is the Alpha of that pack. Our fathers are best friends, and they were over the moon when Julius and Aubrey turned out to be mates. Our mothers were also ecstatic, because they get to throw a mating ceremony for Aubrey and Julius. I am hoping that I do not have to look very far for my mate and Luna. Aubrey and Julius found each other at Aubrey's first shift. Aubrey and Julius are having their mating ceremony in two days. The rest of Julius' family will be arriving in the next couple of hours. My mother is so busy with the ceremony that she has forgotten that in the two days after the mating ceremony will be my Alpha ceremony. At that time I will officially take over as Alpha from my father. It is a really stressful time for me. I am sure I can handle the responsibility of running the pack. I have been partly doing it already to prepare for me taking over for my father. He is so ready to hand over the leadership role to me so he can finally have a vacation with my mother. They deserve that vacation. They have had so much to deal with in the last couple of years. My sister is so happy finding her mate. She had a close call with a rival Alpha. He wanted her for his chosen mate, even though she already had a mate destined by the Moon Goddess. Vincent, the rival Alpha, was taken down by my sister and her wolf. His wolf deserted him just before the end. Aubrey is now back home getting ready for her mating ceremony with Julius. She is so excited to be with her mate. She has been so busy with the preparations for the ceremony that I have hardly seen her. I love seeing her so happy. My father mindlinks me to tell me that Julius' sisters have arrived. I make my way down to the common room from my office. I make it almost to the bottom when all of a sudden the most enchanting scent makes it to me. The scent is a mixture of cinnamon and honey. I know by the reaction that my wolf is having, that this is my mate's scent. Judging by the fact that I can smell her scent so strongly, she is in my pack house at this very moment. I all but run the rest of the way to the common room. I can't wait to meet her and neither can my wolf, Axel. As I enter the common room the scent is even stronger. I know for sure that my mate is in this room. The fact that the only she-wolves in the common room are Julius' sisters is a little confusing to me. I am taking that to mean that one of them is my mate and Luna. Axel is pacing back and forth in my head with impatience to find our mate. "Axel, stop pacing you are giving me a headache," I tell him. "I can't help it, Cameron, not when our mate is so close," he says back to me. "Can you tell which one it is?" I ask him. "Not yet, her wolf is not reaching out to me yet," he informs me.
