201 Words
Chapter 15: No Loose Ends Felix groaned in pain, clutching his wounded leg, blood pooling beneath him. His men stood frozen, weapons lowered. They knew the fight was over. Lola pressed her gun harder against Felix’s forehead. "Talk." He coughed, spitting blood. "Go to hell." Lola’s expression remained unreadable. She pulled the trigger—just once. A bullet shattered his kneecap. Felix screamed. "Odukoya." Lola’s voice was calm. "Where is he?" Felix gritted his teeth, panting. "You think this changes anything? You think killing me will stop him?" Lola c****d the gun. "Next shot goes between your eyes." Felix chuckled through the pain. "Fine. You want him? He’s in Ikoyi. Safe house by the lagoon. High security." Lola’s gaze didn’t waver. "Exact location." Felix licked his bloody lips. "Bourdillon Road. Top floor. He won’t be alone." Lola nodded. She had everything she needed. Felix gave her a twisted grin. "You won’t get to him, detective. Odukoya owns this city. He owns your people." Lola didn’t blink. She pulled the trigger. One shot. Right between the eyes. Felix collapsed, lifeless. No loose ends. Ugo exhaled sharply. "That’s it, then. Odukoya is next." Lola reloaded her gun, her face unreadable. "We end this."
