"Well come on Alexandria! Fight me! You want to so bad, so come on, don't be a b***h, punch me!" I hollered, shoving her back against another table.
At this point, I was done with her. I was done with her drama. She could keep Andrew. I wanted nothing to do with - not even friendship if it meant daily harassment, and drama. At first, I thought this school was amazing. But now? Hell, I couldn't wait for tomorrow. I could finally go back home for the weekend.
"I want my boyfriend back you w***e!" Her hands balled into fists. Her face turned nearly as red as a tomato, and by all means, if it were possible - if only she was a cartoon, you would easily see smoke coming from her ears.
"First off, do you even know the definition of a w***e? Cause one, I ain't getting paid for sleeping around with ghosts. And lastly, I ain't no prostitute. So - honey. Do me a favor and keep my name out of your mouth." My voice dropped like venom dropping on honey. I wasn't going to be nice. Not anymore. And Alexandria was just the person to push me over that edge.
"You took my damn boyfriend!" She took a swing, and an impact was made leaving a small trail of blood from my eye.
"You b***h! You can have Andrew! He's the one who keeps approaching me." I yell, tackling her down to the ground.
An audience soon grew around us, chanting for us to keep fighting. She laid in a few solid weak punches. I see why guys make fun of girls so much when they fight, all Andria wanted to do was pull my hair or try to punch my breast. I grabbed a tray off one of the tables, smacking it against the side of her face. And before I could lay another punch down, my wrist was grabbed and I was forced off of her.
Another guy took hold of Alexandria when she got up, if I could I would tear into her like a piranha. I glared down her soul, jumping and elbowing to get out of the guy's hold.
"Come to me, baby!" Alexandria yelled, tears flooding her eyes before a drop ran down her cheek.
Instantly, that's when I knew that this strong grip keeping me back from tearing into that girl was Andrew. Elbowing his groin, I look around before bolting out. I couldn't do this. I didn't want to be here anymore. I ran out the doors, listening as they slammed shut behind me.
I bent down as my fingers clutched to my knees, air seemed to have left my body for a short minute. It was too much. The drama was stress on top of classes - which I was missing out on creative writing there was just no point in trying to make it.
A small sob left my mouth, and tears rolled down my cheeks, dripping down onto my hand before making its final slide to the ground. Memories strike back harshly, "No...no, no, no..." I cry, kneeling on the ground.
I may seem weak but my heart was clenched by a hand, the pain of a knife severing is what it felt like. I swung my arm out when there was a touch on my shoulder, but when she started to speak I lowered my guard.
"Let's get you in. I'm so sorry." Lilian's voice was soft. Melodic, and calm.
She wrapped her arm around me and helped me up to the room. I hadn't expected flashbacks over a little fight. My body was just so overwhelmed, I was. The fight. She could have died. Right? She was fine? Right? The cool chill of the duvet blanket rested on me as I pulled the hem over my head.
The bed sunk in, and the gentle massages came from the small palm of her hand. "Do you want to talk about it?" She offered.
"I... I just...I can't do it anymore."
"Why can't you?"
"I just.. can't." I sniffle, ridding my cheeks of the pool of salty water. She cleaned off the dried blood, having me apply pressure to the bleed.
"I'm here for you. I haven't betrayed you yet, and I won't." She pulled the blanket from my head, ignoring the rats best my hair quickly became.
"The fight. In the cafeteria. My mom died cause she was beaten to death on the street. I remember the face...father didn't...he didn't have a good feeling. I should have done something. But she died..she was neat to death. And after what I did in there?" My voice squeaked off, and instantly I broke down again, bringing my knees to my chest.
Lilian's eyes softened, and leaned over, her arms embracing me. "Shh...it's ok. One day you will find out who did it. One day Elli."
"I don't know...if it will. "
After multiple, 'it'll be OK'd' and back rubs, I slowly felt a little better, but not as much as I had hoped. She reached over, wiping the extra tears away. She looked at me and smiled, reassuringly squeezing my shoulder. A knock came from the door, my brows knitting slightly.
We exchanged glances, and I gave her the ok. But when she opened the door, I rolled my eyes before tearing my graze from the open door. I could be sad and annoyed at once, I had the right. He won't leave me the hell alone - and for it, I get into a fight with his ex.
"Please. I just want to talk to you." Andrew spoke, I could tell he was worried. His voice was less eager and full of himself.
"Give us a moment, would ya Lil?"
Lilian glanced back at me with that look. She hoped I would make the right choice, but in all honesty. I was curious as to what this guy could say to try to even change my mind. The door shut behind him, but I knew she was staying by the door for when I needed him to get a quick exit out.
"I just want to talk." He repeated.
"So you said."
"I just..." He paused. "I do want to get to know you. As friends."
"No."
"No?"
"No." I glance at him, not even mad at him much anymore. But I refused to go through what I just went through again. I couldn't become that girl.
"Without giving me a chance? Come on. Please. Give me this weekend and I'll prove it to you."
"No Andrew. I'm sorry. Please leave. I'm leaving early and would appreciate it if you left." I mumble.
"Wow. You're going to be like that huh?"
"Yes, Andrew. I am. Bye."
He stepped closer, reaching for my cheek. But I smacked his hand away, the little bit I touched was soft. Warm. I wasn't going to let that get in the way of anything though. There was no point in trying for a relationship with this guy. To me, it just felt all like a joke. His words?
Not normal.
Showing him off like a fly, I watched as he bounced around till finally, he was gone. Leaning back in bed, I glance as Lilian stepped back in, the door sealing shut behind her. She gave me that look, but I just shook my head and sunk back under the covers.
Ping.
AndrewMallo...
Look, I just want a chan...
With a tap, the i********: messages popped up, and without a second thought, I read what he had sent. It was probably foolish for not answering, but I wanted to just see what he had to say. I can say though, that it made my heart melt like chocolate.

'Look, I just want a chance. You're genuine and I like that. From what I've seen and heard I just want to see if it's true. I'd love to get to know you. I promise it's not for any hookup or anything. I'm done with relationships. And s*x. I just want to settle down, and with you, I think you'd be a great help with settling down. And maybe we can grow, and if not it's cool. Just message me back, and let me know.'
'Give me the weekend.' I sent.
He sent thumb-ups. Couldn't hurt to give him a chance, could it? Yet, at the same time, I didn't want to deal with the drama from Alexandria. I'm most likely going to have to put up with it the entire weekend. Thinking about my earlier thoughts, maybe there was a shift in them. No. I couldn't.
Maybe I could try and make amends with Alexandria? While at the same time be friends or try to be with her ex?
It could work out. Right? Or I could just make amends with Alexandria and just leave Andrew a part of the past so he can stay and wither. After thinking some about it, I parted from my thoughts and allowed my aching body to rest.
