A few days had gone by, and already I was tired of the drama; food, and late-night sneak-ins and outs of the dorm room. It was bothering and I wouldn't take it much longer. But, I and Lilian were close friends I learned to deal. All my friends are annoying, and so far she was the closest person to me besides Deedee.
The past few days, I've been getting pushed against walls and liner lockers. Bullies in the bathroom in all. And that's when I wanted to change, and thanks to Lilian that change was possible. Helping me with a new wardrobe; the dos and don'ts of how to act. And within these days, it had helped a lot.
I had even come across the news of Alexandria's and Andrew's breakup. To me, it was kinda funny. Karma is a b***h.
Pulling my hair back, I finish up, gathering my things before heading out into the beautiful Hall I call hell. With the change, I'm going to take control. I'm going to show Alex who she is messing with. Rather it turns out good or not I don't know, but I'm just going to sit back and see if the zebra wants to run from the leopard.
Peering around the corner, I bump into the person I had least expected to bump into.
Andrew.
"Hey. Brielle right?" He questioned.
"That was a very quick assumption." I blurt, rolling my eyes. "But, yes. Anywho though, kindly stay out of my way. I don't need trouble." Stepping to the side, I Huff when he moved in front of me again.
"Come on. Not even a hangout?"
"Not even that. Now if you excuse me I have to catch math."
He grinned before nudging me. Playful or not, I didn't enjoy the touch so I shoved him down a step or two. Oh well. The worst that could happen is me being accused of being a murderer. Right? A sudden ring of the phone caught my attention, as I turned, it was two other guys cackling towards one another.
"I swear -"
"Save it asshole."
Pushing past him with a rough shoulder shove, I stormed toward mathematics class. I couldn't stand to be in the presence of him again. Them for that matter. Was I just a prank to people, or maybe a clown?
If Alexandria put him up to that, faking their 'break up' I won't be so pleased. I'm not a girl to mess with anymore, I will take what's mine. Even if it means breaking down the b***h of the school. I'm just surprised she's not a w***e like most school girls are. Especially at boarding school.
By all means, it wasn't much of a task. All I had to do is get through the rest of the year without sudden measures and delays. A stop in time or beat of one's soul. Maybe a failing soul is what lingers away the good parts of a person.
Or in general, they just have no soul.
Headed towards the back, I take my seat, pulling my notebook and pencil out. Leaning forward I chew on the tip of my pencil, a little eraser dropping left in my mouth. In my opinion, it tasted like rubber. But, I had to admit - the taste of rubber isn't as bad as people think.
Especially if you're hungry.
DeeDee stepped in, this time wearing a complete pastel blue set - including the makeup. Her hair was down, the curls bouncing around with each step, flawlessly framing her face.
"Heyyy." She chirped.
"Hey."
"Everything cool? I saw what Alexandria posted."
"Yeah, everything is cool." I muster a smile, right as the bell rang a swarm of people walked in. Almost like bees are drawn to honey.
Ms. Pirini began writing on the board - of today's lesson. The way the chalk pressed against the board, it messed with my teeth causing me to suck in my upper lip under my teeth. I could feel the vibration and irritation from the dusted chalk.
"Ok class. Today you guys will be flipping to page 102 and filling out the equations from the textbook onto a piece of paper. And please, show your work. If work is not seen for the problem's answer, I will dock 20 points off the final grade." Ms. Pirini announced, her glasses laid bare on the bridge of her nose - wearing her dirty blond hair in a bun, with a denim skirt and sweater.
Mentally I don't think I could take on quiet things or challenges such as this. Math was my weakness, but there's a point in taking a dive and learning. I did pass with a B- in mathematics back home. Not too bad right?
Opening the textbook that was under the seat, slowly turn the pages, labeling on the piece of paper one through twenty.
-----------------
Classes only took 4 hours total. Mathematics; Advanced literature, Science, or Biology - in my case I chose biology, and History. All of which were completed, leaving me with creative writing classes after lunch.
My schedule was fun to be honest, almost like jumping rope. Not just that but the fact it all worked out in my favor. Fridays through Sundays were free days for everyone, a choice to stay and have fun or go home for the weekends and cherish the time we have with family.
"Hey, DeeDee! Lilian!" I called out.
I approached the table of the two girls surprised they were even together. I thought they hate each other, but who knows? Like my mom said, everyone makes up for the long run if they wanted to. And in this scenario, maybe it was true.
States followed me to the table, but I felt one in particular. Alexandria's.
Ignoring everyone that I could, I took my seat taking a drink of Lilian's open water. "I'm guessing everyone reads her blog?"
"Pretty much." Deedee smiled, shoving a forkful into her mouth.
"Wow...So um...Andrew came up to me this morning."
"What?" Lilian exclaimed.
"Yeah..wanting to hang out and all. I mean should I?"
"It's up to you girl. But with the recent breakup? I'd hold off on that." Deedee advised.
Buzz.
Buzz.

I know I shouldn't have. But I liked his comment. A common mistake anyone could do. I knew I haven't quite thought it through. I know now that I should have. A ping was heard, and just like I thought.
Andrew messaged.
"Guys. He messaged..."
"How'd he get your user?" Deedee asked, Lilian took a sip from her sprite.
"Last night she tagged my user, but I accidentally liked his comment.." I mumble.
"Girl. What have I told you? To be bad, can't easily fall for stuff like that. Ignore the haters - and ditch the boys. Make them beg your attention." Lilian smiled biting down on her straw before excusing herself. "Don't tell me it was all for nothing."
As she left, and after it sunk in I removed my like and immediately removed Andrew's message from my messages on the blog site. Leaning back, I was met with a headache and a sharp ache - knocking the wind out of me. Deedee stood, her round lips pouted, brows stitched together in a frown.
I winced, laying there for a minute or two before slowly sitting up. By the look on Deedee's face, I knew it couldn't have been anyone good. Looking up, I knew I was in hella trouble. Just for once, I couldn't get rid of the punishment from the past.
Was this just karma or was it something more? Cause at this moment I didn't appreciate what was going on. Deedee helped me up, and the second she had, I was met with another dull ache against the edge of the table.
That's where she crossed the line. I wasn't this sweet, weak girl she met one day one here. I was going to show her who the boss was, and I'm going to do it now. The key to being bad is not to let anyone walk all over you like you're some kind of trophy.
Now was the time to finally stand my ground. Put a b***h in place. Maybe not forever, but long enough for me to get out of this hell hole. Pushing myself from the table, I took the second swing.
