Chapter 01
Growing up in the countryside made a huge contrast between her and stereotypical city girls. In fact, she's nowhere near that kind.
While the other girls did some shopping, she would go and play at the riverbank.
Others talked to friends, she interacted with animals in the forest and talked about her days while counting flower petals—since there's no one around her age in that village.
Even with the bare minimum knowledge of electronic devices, she's living her life happily by embracing and appreciating nature. standing below the sunlight, taking a deep breath amidst of a meadow.
She lived adjacent to the train tracks. While other people tend to get disturbed by the sound, she enjoyed each moment watching the train passed by from her window. The sound of blaring honk, seeing it moved in blurred lights, and wondered what kind of people were inside? How many people could a train hold?
She was different.
One night, a train flew past the track. Inside it, a broken boy who's finding a way to escape his sadness sat alone on one of the seats. After hearing many advice that came to his ears, he finally decided that his mother's advice was probably the best. And that's visiting his aunt at the countryside. Here he was.
She was different, and at the same time, the boy might need something different to lift all the toxic within his body.
Eunrae couldn't afford to buy a train ticket and that's why she always pondered about the train, the city, and what kind of people lived outside from her village.
Little did she know, that one night train might be the key to unlock the answers she sought for.
