CHAPTER 11 PART 2

“Lie down,” I ordered her to lie down on the bed. I will not support her; I don’t want her to have a different meaning if ever I will do it. So, I order her to do it herself. She kindly obeys and does it. Now she’s like a patient waiting to be injected with a needle as big as my arm. My evil self says, oh! She might die! With all the sarcasm along with his voice. My inner being frowns like Atlas, the one entitled to bear the weight of earth and heaven.

I step out of my clothes and then, I bend my knees down to get my boxers and my slacks. I hang it over the chair. And I get the foil packet inside my slacks pocket. I tear the foil down and then wear the condom myself. When it’s already rolled around my shaft fully, I leaned over the bed and next thing I did, I kneel between her thighs.

She looks at me with an unreadable expression. I mean, she’s acting like its natural and normal for her but she’s not looking directly on the eyes. She’s looking somewhere else, that part that looks like a Popsicle with a velvety and cap-like head. I imagine hon’s expression whenever she sees my full naked body; she’s always drooling in terror. Nang makalabas na ako sa pinto, agad naman akong nagpahatid sa may gate doon sa driver ng minicar. Agad din naman akong pinagbuksan ng gate ng guard at pagkatapos, mabilis akong naglakad papunta sa may junction. Doon nalang ako mag-aabang ng taxi. Mga tatlumpong metro din ang nilakad ko bago ako nakarating sa junction. At bago ako makapunta doon, hindi ko lubos maisip ang mga kasalanan na nagawa ko na.

Kaya ba ako iniwan ni Saphire dahil sa masama akong tao? I doubt that. She loves me and she even accepts me even if she knew that I was a hospitality man. That’s how much she loves me.  I love her too.

Nagising nalang ako sa sudden reverie ko ng may liwanag na tumusok sa mga balat at ng mukha ko. It’s a car. And habang papalapit ito sa akin, I recognize that it’s a taxi kaya naman, pinara ko na ito. Agad akong pumasok nang huminto ito sa may harap ko.

“Sa Zyrus Condominum and Resort,” sabi ko sa driver at agad naman siyang nagdrive papunta sa sinasabi kong address.

Several minutes later, nakarating na din ako sa may condo ko. Sa may kanto lang ako nagpababa at pagkatapos kong bayaran ang driver agad akong naglakad papunta sa parking lot underground sa building. Nang nasa loob na ako, agad akong nagtungo sa bandang nandun ang elevator. I press the arrow up button and moments later, the elevator pings open. I hurriedly step in it and I tap my code combination for my condo. Ang tanging nakakaalam lang nito ay si Zyrus at iyong cook at ang driver ko.

Hindi nagtagal, nakarating na din ako sa condo ko. I immediately step out from the elevator at nung nasa may porch na ako ng condo ko, kita kong nakaabang na si Zoren sa akin.

“Greetings, Sir,” sabi niya sabay bow. Nagnod lang ako sa kaniya at inabot sa kaniya iyong paperbag na pinaglagyan ko nung robe.

“Have this cleaned and washed by our housekeeper,” iyon lang ang sinabi ko at agad akong pumasok sa pinto ng condo ko. Agad na tumambad sa akin ang living room, my white floor and walls and with my black furnitures. Black and white and motif ng condominium ko.

Alam ko na nakasunod lang sa akin si Zoren, kaya naman umupo muna ako sa may sofa. I tilt my head back on the sofa. I then sighed out my exhaustion. Ipinikit ko din ang mga mata ko at nilagay ang mga kamay ko sa likod ng ulo ko. Panay na ang pagbuntong-hininga ko.

“Master, you must be hungry. Mrs. Lian has made you dinner. You might want to have a bite before it gets cold,” sabi ni Zoren. Marunong naman itong magtagalog, pero since nasa English country kami kaya nagienglish din siya, besides, sa London sila lumaki .  

“Okay,” sabi ko sabay tayo. Nagtungo na ako sa may kitchen ko, buti nalang malinis gumawa at malinis din ang housekeeper ko, napapanatili niya ang pagkaputi ng white kitchen table ko. Besides, may glass din naman kase ito.

Nagsimula na akong kumain. Masyado akong gutom kaya naman hindi ko na inintindi ang lasa at kahit medyo malamig na. Napatigil nalang ako ng kain nang may sabihin si Zoren.

“Your daughter bids you good night, sir,” sabi niya. Pinagpatuloy ko na ang pagsusubo ko pero sabay din ang pagtanong ko sa kaniya.

“Tumawag siya?” alam niya na kung sino ang tinutukoy ko. Nagnod lang siya sabay may sinabi.

“She wants me to remind you about tomorrow night,” sabi niya. Palaging cautious at careful si Zoren tuwing nirireport niya sa akin ang tungkol kay Eurika at sa anak ko. Hindi ko alam, parang palaging nakasaksak sa isipan niya na galit ako sa mga iyong, pero hindi ako galit sa ank ko. Like I told you, I don’t blame her. I blame myself.

“Okay, is that all for today? How about OIC- Robert?” tanong ko sa kaniya between siping my soup.

“All’s been taken care of, Sir. Now, the position is vacant. If ever you want me to find a list for efficient candidates for the said position Sir, I will do it right away,” sabi niya as a matter-of-factly.

“No,” sabi ko, tinignan ko siya at napansin kontg nagulat siya sa sinabi ko. “I think it’s time for me to manage that company, after all, I founded that company for a certain purpose. Maybe I can leave my company here under the supervision of Director Johnson as acting president. I’ll still be the CEO,” sabi ko sa kaniya. Agad naman siyang nagnod.

“Right, Sir,” sabi ko sa kaniya.

“And Zoren,” I prompt him. “Be sure to take care of those seniles’ mischief, I want the case closed and in favor to us before we move back to Phillipines,” sabi ko. Nagnod lang siya.

Nang matapos na ako…. gad namang sinunod ni Mrs. Lian ang pinagkainan ko, agad na akong nagtungo sa kwarto kop at ginaga ang mga gawain ko before I go to sleep.
