Chapter 10: The Obsession Deepens
Cassius watched Rory as she hung up the phone, her expression thoughtful. He could see the wheels turning in her mind, the doubts and fears that were beginning to surface.
But Cassius wasn't worried. He knew that he had Rory right where he wanted her. He had her curious, her intrigued, and he knew that it was only a matter of time before she surrendered to him completely.
As Rory turned back to him, Cassius smiled, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "Everything okay?" he asked, his voice low and husky.
Rory nodded, her eyes never leaving his. "Yeah, everything's fine."
Cassius raised an eyebrow, his expression skeptical. "You're sure?" he asked, his voice dripping with concern.
Rory nodded again, her eyes flashing with annoyance. "I'm positive," she said, her voice firm.
Cassius smiled, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. He knew that he had Rory right where he wanted her. He had her defensive, her guard up, and he knew that it was only a matter of time before he broke her down.
As they sat down to dinner, Cassius couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. He knew that he was playing a dangerous game, that he was pushing Rory to her limits.
But he couldn't help himself. He was obsessed with Rory, with her passion and her fire. He wanted to possess her, to own her, and he was willing to do whatever it took to make that happen.
As the night wore on, Cassius watched Rory with growing intensity. He could see the desire in her eyes, the attraction that she couldn't quite hide.
And he knew that he had her. He had her right where he wanted her.
