Chapter 6: SearchingWhen Garner descended from the city bus the following morning, he was a block from the intersection of Osler and Nanton, and filled with a burning sense of purpose. He walked to the intersection, and stood there, looking around. Then, taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes and gradually opened his Sensitivity until he was fully exposed to the dull murmurs of human presence inside the houses up and down the street, people going about their day-to-day lives.
