CHAPTER 05
Veronica noticed since the break of day the odd manifestation in the house. Something had happened that had made the criminals change their plans. They had been arguing for a while and seemed agitated. After a long wait, she heard a key being inserted in the door and grew tense.
"Good morning, dear, today you will have lunch on the road so pack your things, and let's go."
The man waited for her to take some things they had placed for her. Veronica was forced to go up squeezed into the little gap in stair that he had purposely left for her. As he was going up as well, he pressed her against the wall, pressing his body to hers. The disgust was so intense that she almost bruised herself on the wood to get as far away from that disgusting man as possible.
