PRIMORDIAL WEREWOLVES SERIES #1: The Old Tales

"Be careful," Florina wondered what her cousin told her. She just laughed to cover her nervousness. She doesn't know why the people around her act like this. It is about the spread of Primordial Werewolves in their world. Should she believe the story about those werewolves? People are scared of Primordial Werewolves. But for Florina, it just made up stories of the elderly. "Until now, Kate, you still believe in that rumor. Wake up, that story was a long time ago," Florina joked to her cousin and she followed with a soft laugh. Florina took her bag and slung it over her shoulder, she was ready to leave. She even took the key to her old car that was just on the table. "Kate, I'm leaving," Florina said goodbye to her cousin. Shy went out and heard nothing from her cousin. She walked towards the old car that her Uncle Robert had bequeathed to her before he died. She got into her car and started the engine, then she drove to her destination. Florina is now going to a bar where she works as a bar DJ. She has been working there for almost three years and Florina is happy with what she is doing. After half an hour of driving, Florina's car stopped in front of a bar. She got out of her car and entered the bar, but as soon as her feet stepped inside the bar Florina felt a strange feeling. Her whole body seems to be heating up, and her chest pounding is gradually getting stronger. She couldn't understand what she was feeling because it was new to her, like something was living inside her body. "Are you alright?" Florina lost her thoughts when someone spoke from behind her. She faced the person who spoke and she saw her work colleague, Agustin. "Yes, I'm fine," she immediately answered and ignored the strange feeling in her body. "You're late, Nathalie came to you first," he just stared at what Agustin said. "Nathalie has arrived? Where is she?" Florina asked nervously. Nathalie Ledeza, her manager. Nathalie introduced her to this bar. She disappeared for a year and Florina was surprised by her sudden arrival. The man in front of him laughed because of Florina's reaction to what the man said. She glared at him, Agustin noticed that so he stopped from laughing. "Relax Florina, she's upstairs waiting for you." When Agustin said that, she immediately turned around and walked to the second floor of the bar. When she got to the top, she immediately went to where her manager was. She stopped in front of a VIP room to see who was inside the VIP room. She saw Nathalie alone inside the room and drinking wine. Florina immediately entered the VIP room and Nathalie looked at her. The woman smiled when she saw her. She stood up from her seat to approach Florina. "Hey, I miss you, girl. How are you?" her manager immediately asked her. Before she answered her question, she approached the sofa to take a sit, she even crossed her legs while her manager is standing in front of Florina. "Still the same, Nathalie. Bar and house only," she answered. "No boyfriend?" she asked and raised an eyebrow. Florina glared at her manager because of her question. "Hey woman, don't look at me like that. I'm just asking, it's already been one year since the last time we talked." "I have no time for that, Nathalie," Florina said indifferently to her manager. "I can help you, Florina. I have a lot of business partners that are just your age, the others are only five years older than you," said the woman to Nathalie. Florina just ignored what Nathalie told her. She was already tired of what her manager said about her business partners who were only her age. Florina is not a lesbian, no man has caught her interest yet. "Stop that Nathalie. I'm not interested in your business partner," she said straight to her manager. Nathalie just laughed and dropped the wine glass she was holding on the table. "You're so funny Florina, I'm just joking about what I said earlier," she said to Florina. "Why did you come back?" Florina changed the subject. "He doesn't want me. After chasing that man for almost one year, he will just push me away. I can't believe that he doesn't want me anymore." There was a hint of sadness as Nathalie spoke. What Florina only knows is that she left to chase her ex-boyfriend. It looks like her manager's year-long pursuit has come to naught. This is also one of the reasons why Florina does not want to fall in love because she was afraid that the same thing that happened to Nathalie might happen to her also. A knock interrupted their conversation. She faced who was knocking and Agustin appeared to her leaning on the door jamb. "What are you doing here again?" Nathalie asked the man who had just arrived. "Don't worry, I don't need you. I'm just picking up Florina because people are already looking for her." Because of what Agustin said, Florina suddenly looked at the clock. When she saw that it was time for her work, she immediately left the VIP room and they left Nathalie there. They went down again and Florina went straight to the stage. As soon as Florina goes up, she can immediately hear the noises from the people who came tonight. Florina approached the sound system and put on the headphones. She was about to start when a familiar feeling hit her again. She is restless because of her strange feeling, her knees are starting to get weak. Added to that was the fact that there was an eye watching her every move. Despite her feelings, Florina tried to turn her eyes to the people watching her. And there, her eyes met a different pair of eyes. Her heart beat faster and she felt even more weaker as she watched how this person's eyes changed color. It was a dark color that started to change into red. She did not know this person, but there was something different about him.
