Chapter 07: Make her safe

He is worried right now, until now he has not been able to find the girl. Nicholas is worried about what may
happened to his mate.
"Nicholas, Matilda is here," Nicholas was lost in thought as he heard a woman's name.
"What is she doing here?" Nicholas asked his brother.
"I don't know, there's something important that she wants to say to you." Nicholas frowned at what Sav said. What will the forest guardian want to tell him?
"Let her in," Nicholas ordered his brother. Sav immediately left in front of him to go to the woman he was referring to, he later returned with an old woman named Matilda.
The woman bowed her head to show her respect for the Alpha of Primordial Werewolf. After that, Nicholas immediately asked the old woman.
"What is the important thing you have to tell me, Matilda?"
"It is about your Luna, Alpha Nicholas," he seemed alerted by Matilda's words. He approached the woman and silently strangled her.
There was no change in the woman's emotions as she was lifted in the air because of Nicholas' strangulation. It's easy for Alpha to get angry especially when it comes to that girl, his one-week grace period is over and they have to go back to their world.
"Where is she? What did you do to her?" Nicholas asked the woman emphatically.
"She's safe, she doesn't know that we know each other." Only then did Nicholas calm down when she said that his mate was doing well.
He let go of the woman and then he let out a deep breath.
"Did she say anything to you?" Nicholas asked.
"She is just scared. Alpha Nicholas, is a mortal so it is natural for her to be scared. Go to Florina, you have to talk to her," Matilda said to Nicholas.
"Florina?"
"That's her name, Florina."
"Mate has a beautiful name," Zura suddenly said and Nicholas agreed.
"Don't worry Matilda, I'm going to see her. I need to be with her when I return to Primordial, I just need to talk to Mother right now," Nicholas said seriously.
"I will go now, Alpha Nicholas. I'm just here to tell you where your mate is, so you know where to look for her," that was the last thing Matilda said before she left.
Nicholas is left alone and thinks about what Matilda said. She is scared, maybe this is the reason why the woman ran away. He needs to talk to her, his mate needs to trust him.
"The forest guardian is from here? What did she tell you?" suddenly Liro comes and asks what the old woman told him.
"She found my mate," Nicholas replied briefly to his brother.
"What are you doing there? Let's go and get her."
"I can't Liro, I still need to talk to Mother because we can't go back to Primordial right away."
"Maybe our mother will understand your situation right now, Nicholas. Put your mate first. The next eclipse is coming, I can't bear anymore to watch you getting weak because your body can't handle the distance you have with your mate."
Nicholas couldn't answer what Liro said. This past day, his body started to get weak. This is one of the things he has to go through, his weakness will disappear when he has marked Florina and that must happen before the eclipse.
"Listen to your brother, Nicholas. We need our mate right now," Zura said to him.
Zura and Liro are right, he needs to be with his mate. "Call Savero, tell her that we are going to see Matilda," he ordered his brother and Liro immediately took action.
He needs to stop her from running away, he needs to talk to Florina. Nicholas badly wants to see his mate.
Together with the two brothers, they transform into werewolves when they are already inside the forest.
"Sav, do you know where Matilda's house is?" asked Nicholas. They are talking through a mind link.
"Yes just follow me." Sav werewolf leads the way. Only Zura and Liro's werewolf followed. They were in the middle of walking when they heard a woman scream.
"Who is that?" Liro asked.
"I don't know. I think she needs our help," Zura was about to run to where the scream came from but Liro's werewolf stopped him.
"The f**k Nicholas, you will help a mortal in that way. Maybe it's better not to—"
Liro's werewolf didn't finish what he had to say when Sav's werewolf suddenly spoke.
"Stop, can you smell that?"
Because of what Sav's werewolf said, he checked the environment and Zura smelled a familiar scent.
"That's a rogue. We need to find it, they are a dangerous werewolf."
The three werewolf run to find the rogue. He suddenly worried for his mate, he needs to protect his mate.
"It's here," they stopped running because of what Liro said. They saw a rogue on top of a mortal woman but Zura's anger suddenly boiled over when he recognized the mortal woman.
He can't be wrong. That mortal is Florina, it is his mate.
"Don't touch my mate," Zura growled. The rogue stopped what he was about to do to his mate, they immediately ran and rushed the rogue. It flew far away and his two brothers chased after it.
Zura was about to attack the rogue when he suddenly looked at his mate. Fear was on the woman's face, the anger disappeared and it was replaced by concern for her mate. Instead of leaving, Zura blocked himself so Florina couldn't see what was happening.
"Just close your eyes. I'm already here my queen, I will make you safe," he whispered to Florina. Florina followed what Zura said, while Zura just staring at the woman's face.
She is more beautiful up close. With long eyelashes, a sharp nose, and red lips. She is too perfect for him.
Zura didn't leave Florina, he just stayed by her side until his two brothers finished killing the rogue. When they were already done, he whispered to Florina again.
"You are now safe, my queen. You may open your eyes," Florina opened her eyes and for the second time, his red eyes met her blue eyes again. He felt everything stop when their eyes met, his heart pounded again.
He finally found her mate. Now that he's found the girl, he won't let her go again. Nicholas will do everything just to make her safe forever.
