Chapter 10: The Fight

Florina wakes up in an unfamiliar room. She gets out of the bed wondering how she got into that room. She just sat on the bed trying to remember what happened to her, until she remembered about the conversation she and Nicholas had outside Matilda's house.
"No, it can't be," she tried to say in her mind that she might be thinking wrong about that person. Until the man who had been running in her mind entered the room.
He is wearing a black shirt and gray pants. His muscular body is visible in his clothes. Her eyes started to roam around in his body, he is so hot in that kind of outfit.
Florina closes her eyes when she realizes what she's doing. "The f*ck girl stops that," she cursed herself in her mind.
"So, you are awake now." The man walked towards her until he stopped right in front of her.
"Where am I, Nicholas? What did you do to me?" Florina stood up and glared at the man in front of her.
"You are now in our home, Florina. Welcome, my Luna," Nicholas said. She was jolted to her feet when Nicholas' right hand came up and his palm touched her cheeks.
Here's her heart again, just a little touch of the skin of the two of them makes her heart skip a beat. Her heart was her other enemy, no matter how much she denied it...she knew that the werewolf man caused something different in her heart. So she needs to get away, she needs to get away before she gives up on her feelings.
"This is not my home Nicholas. I do not belong here," she said to Nicholas.
But the man's emotions suddenly changed, he was staring seriously at Florina's face.
"What do you want to do right now? Do you want to escape? I will not let you escape from me again Florina, the few days of pain you made me suffer from is enough. Please Florina, just stay here," she saw how Nicholas's emotions softened. She wanted to feel sorry for the man but she didn't let her emotions win.
"I heard that werewolves reject their mate. To make everything easier for us, just reject me as your mate Nicholas," Florina said seriously to Nicholas, she looked at the man without emotion.
Nicholas raised his face to look at Florina. She saw in the man's eyes that he was hurt by what she said, she avoided her gaze from Nicholas. She felt that she is also hurt by the Nicholas emotions.
"The f**k, why does it have to be this difficult? I feel my heart is already connected to him," Florina said in her mind.
"Why it is so easy for you to say that Florina? I understand that you are scared and you can't believe that we exist. But Florina I am your mate and I can't reject you because you are already part of my life. I'm getting weak every time you are away from me, please don't make me do such things like that. I can't reject you even I have the power to do that," Nicholas said with his pleading voice.
"Don't you understand, Nicholas? I'm a human while you're a werewolf, that's how different we are. I don't fit in your world."
"How many times do I have to tell you that I am your mate, Florina? You are destined to me and I am destined to you, the moon goddess chose you to be my mate. My whole body belongs to you, even Zura belongs to you."
Florina knows what Nicholas is talking about. She learned from the stories of the elders that their werewolf had a different name. They connect to their werewolf through a mind link.
"How could you say that Nicholas? How could you say that I belong to you when we have no feelings for each other? You just came into my life and suddenly you are claiming me as your mate."
"I understand, you are still confused. I will just let you think for a while, I will wait for you my queen until you accept everything," Nicholas said and his palm touched her cheek again.
"The only thing that I want is to go back to my world, Nicholas. Please let me, let me go." The man shook his head as if he wasn't listening to what she was saying.
"No Florina, I will never do that. You belong here, my queen."
No.... it can't be.... she doesn't belong here. She had to get out of there, she stared at Nicholas for the second time.
"Alright, I'll do it myself. Nicholas I—"
Florina didn't finish what she had to say when Nicholas suddenly grab her and pressed her with a kiss. Florina was surprised by what happened and she heard the loud beat of her precious heart.
Nicholas ended the kiss, the man looked at her as if he was going to attack her at any moment. "You will never reject me Florina because you are mine. You belong here in my world." She was even more scared when Nicholas' voice changed and the color of his eyes gradually changed, from black to red.
Florina didn't know what to do because she was afraid of Nicholas' reaction to what she said. Until her gaze went at the door. She saw the door was open, Florina was about to run to the door when Nicholas grabbed her by the arm. "I don't want here, Nicholas. Let go of me." She tried to break free from his grip on her arm but the man was too strong. Florina screamed when Nicholas pulled her closer to him and her hair stood up when she felt Nicholas's breath touch her shoulder.
"You can't escape from me, Florina. You will stay here with me forever," he whispered using his husky voice.
Florina froze when she heard that from the werewolf man. What is she going to do now? She was already here at the Primordial Werewolves and Florina had only one thing in mind, she had to find a way to escape from Nicholas as soon as possible.
