locked feelings

It was the first day of a new school and Kai was nervous. He didn't want to get lost or be late for lessons because that would embarrass him. Walking through the halls, he noticed a boy in his year. The boy was around 4'9" with light brown hair in a perm style, he was fairly tanned and had blue eyes. Kai decided to talk to him. " Hi!" Kai said confidently. The boy looked at him. E" Hi, what's your name?" The boy asked. " My name is Kai," He answered, " and your name is?" Kai looked at the boy. " Oh yeah sorry! My name is Tom." Kai looked at him and smiled, " Lovely name!" Tom looked at Kai and smiled happily. " Shoot, we are going to be late we better get to our lessons!" Tom said in a panicking tone. They both began walking to their classes together and decided to hang out together during break. Tom and Kai met each other after second period to go to break together. " I want you to meet my friends Kai, I promise they are friendly." Kai agreed to see them, so Tom took him to them. Kai looked forward and noticed 4 boys stood waving at Tom. Kai and Tom approached the boys. " Kai, these are my friends." They all said hi to Kai and the boys began introducing themselves. One was around 4'7" with blonde hair and large brown eyes. " Hi! My name is Harry, nice to meet you!" The blonde boy said happily to Kai. " Hi, nice to meet you!" Kai cheered joyfully. The second boy was around 5'7" with dark brown hair and brown eyes. " Heyyy! My name is Josh." He said to Kai gleefully. Kai looked over at the third boy. The third boy was around 5'10" with slightly darker skin, dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. " Hi. My name is Noah!" He said to Kai with a less enthusiastic tone. Kai wondered why he wasn't as enthusiastic but decided to ignore it and not overthink. Josh looked over at the last boy that hadn't introduced himself yet. He was around 5'8 and had light brown hair and blue eyes. The guy looked at Kai and smiled. " Hey love! My name is Henry!" He said in a very welcoming way. Kai smiled at him, realizing how nice he seemed. " You probably all know, but I'm Kai and it's great to meet you all!" Kai introduced himself happily. The bell rang for everyone to go to period three and they all left for their lessons. Kai was waiting outside the classroom with Tom for period three while the teacher was sorting out the seating plan. " I hope we sit next to each other!" Kai said excitedly to Tom. Tom nodded his head and they continued waiting to get their assigned seating. The teacher called up Kai and placed him in his seat. The next name that got called was Tom! Kai's smile grew after he heard Tom was sitting next to him. Throughout the entire lesson, Tom and Kai spoke to each other about things they were doing and how their lives were. The bell rang for period four and they went their separate way to their next lessons.
