It was a Sunday evening and Kai was getting everything prepared for school. He was just beginning to settle down when he felt his phone buzz. He picked it up and checked his notifications. The notification was from i********:, a message. He opened the message and it was Tom.

Hey kai, I was just wondering if you wanted

to walk to school tomorrow. I'm sleeping at

a friends tonight, so I will be in town anyway.

Kai's heart began beating reading the text. He finished reading it and began blushing intensely. " What...., No I can't have feelings for him!" Kai thought to himself, " I'm not gay.... am I?" Kai sat on the edge of his bed contemplating his sexuality. He decided to talk to some of his other friends about it. He began ringing Kayla.

Kai put his phone down and stared at his wall for a moment. He didn't know how he felt about Tom, in the end he decided he hadn't known Tom long enough to know for sure. " This sure has messed with my head tonight." Kai thought to himself. " I should get some sleep". Kai walked over to his desk and plugged his phone in to charge overnight, before he got into bed he remembered to text Tom back. Kai ran over to his phone and opened i********: to reply to Tom.

Sure! Meet me at my house around 8:30!

He put his phone back to charge and hopped into his bed. So many thoughts were going through his head, and so many feelings going through his heart. Kai closed his eyes and shortly fell asleep to the soft sound of rain pattering on his window.
