She met her husband when she was 30. He was her soulmate. She met him on her first time traveling outside France. He was older than her by 10 years but she never felt that age gap. She told me he was her husband, her lover, her friend, he was her everything & that she would miss him till the day she dies.
She met him on the subway in London. He was reading a book she hated. She didn’t remember the name of the book but she remembered that she made fun of him for reading it in french she knew it was rude but she thought he wouldn’t understand her. She was surprised when he answered her she was ashamed of herself. After that, they became friends.5 years after their marriage she was diagnosed with breast cancer stage three. She thought she would die before him. She wished to die before him because she thought that she wouldn’t handle living one day without him. he stood beside her in her fight against cancer. He never allowed her to give up. She wanted to give up so many times but he never allowed it. Whenever she felt like giving up he would take her in his arms & whisper in her ears that she was not allowed to give up. She is not allowed to leave, he would not let her.
The irony was that after she won her fight they found out that he had already lost his fight. He had stage 4 leukemia, and they tried not to give up. They really did, but he died after 7 years of marriage.
His death wish was for her to live for him, to travel, to see the world.
after he died she hated the life, she hated god, she hated everything, and she hated the unfairness of life but after half a year full of sadness she decided to respect his wish. She booked a flight to a random place & that random place turned out to be Morocco. She didn’t know that she would stay there for 3 years
She told me that Morocco healed her soul & that i wouldn’t understand unless i go there myself.
