''Excuse me Luna.'' One of the pack house staff greeted me over a tense breakfast.
''Don't call me that. I'm not your Luna.'' I told him.
''Yes you are,'' Zain repsonded but I ignored him.
''What do you need?'' I continued to address the maid.
''A letter came from you, from the Dark wood Pack,'' He answered as he held up a letter, ''It has King Brayton's mark on it.''
''Brayton?'' I jumped up and rushed over, ''Thank you,'' I smiled before turning to the King and Queen, ''Please excuse me,''
I rushed out of the dining room, and up to my bedroom where I read his letter with enthusiasm. YES! He is my savior. He's coming for me. I wouldn't have to endure this b***h for much longer.
''Are you sure we have to go?'' Ada asked sadly.
''Do you want to raise someone else's child?'' I asked her, ''If you can honestly say yes, I will stay.''
''I don't want to raise that wh*res pup.''
''Okay then,''
''But it's not our mates, you know it's not.''
''So what.'' I told her, ''They have basically tossed us away over a child they can't even prove is theirs. I'm done with them.''
I sat down at my desk and scribbled a response, ''I will be there.'' I wrote, sealed the letter and rushed back downstairs. I slipped on my shoes and went to the messengers.
Once I was done, I hurried back home. I didn't want to be around the pack right now. Word had gotten out that the twins were my mates after all, but that they had also gotten Colette pregnant, and I didn't want to see their pitying expressions.
When I walked back inside, I found Colette in my bedroom with the twins.
''What the hell are you all doing in here?!'' I asked angrily.
''Siri, we were just talking about the baby's room,'' Kai told me, ''Your bedroom is in between ours,'' He pointed to his brother, ''And we were thinking that it would be easier to have the baby here, we can renovate and put doors in between all the rooms. You will be moving into our rooms anyway, so.''
''So you what?'' I snapped, ''Expect me to give up my room for a child that isn't even yours. She is a liar, open your f*cking eyes!''
Colette burst into fake tears, and the twins rushed over to her. ''Why are you being so mean?'' She asked me, ''I know we were never friends, but this child is the Prince's. I know this is hard for you as their mate but I don't deserve these false accusations!''
She turned and ran from the room, and the twins turned to me, looking upset.
''I never thought I'd be ashamed of you.'' Kai shook his head at me.
''Right back at you.'' I snapped, ''I can't wait for the truth to come out, I can't wait for the pack to turn from you both. Do you really think they'd respect or follow Alpha's who can be so easily manipulated!?''
''Just because you're hurting doesn't mean you can treat everyone like this.'' Zain told me, ''You're making everyone miserable. It's just a room, and you will be living in ours anyway. There was no need to lash out.''
''I will never be sharing a room with either of you.'' I told them, ''But don't worry, you can have the room. I won't need it. To tell with waiting. I Sirena, reject you Zain and Kaios as my mates!''
The twins stepped back in pain. The same pain that filled my own heart.
''YOU WOULD DO THIS TO US OVER THIS?!'' Kai screamed, ''AFTER EVERYTHING WE'VE MEANT TO EACH OTHER!''
''I could say the same thing!'' I yelled, ''She is LYING, and you believe her over me!''
''We're not accepting your rejection.'' Zain told me, with tears in his eyes, ''You're hurt but you will regret it once things have settled down. We will talk again when you're being less emotional.''
''Nothing will change my rejection.'' I warned them, ''I no longer love or respect either of you fools!''
The twins glared at me for a moment, before they turned and marched from the bedroom, and slammed the door. Once I was alone, I sat down on the ground and started crying.
They continuously push me aside, and now they want to take my room too? I couldn't wait for the Goddess festival. I could leave this horror, and one day I could find a second chance mate or just take a chosen.
